Research On Demand For Socialized Services Of Citrus Farmers In Meishan

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China for the first time proposed to "sound the agricultural socialization service system and realize the organic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development",demonstrating the importance of the socialized service system in the development of modern agriculture,and also to promote China's agriculture The construction of a socialized service system provided the policy basis.In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the report,in August 2019,the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued a special notice emphasizing that the construction and deployment of agricultural socialization service projects should be strengthened,requiring strong support for custody services in agricultural production links,and accelerating the cultivation of diversification adapted to agricultural production To serve the organization,to include small farmers in the modern agricultural development system,to effectively promote agricultural production and farmers' income,and to achieve economies of scale and scope of the agricultural industry.Meishan,Sichuan is a nationally superior agricultural product with late-ripe citrus characteristics.In recent years,the citrus industry in Meishan has developed rapidly,and has achieved significant results in terms of large-scale production,brand management,and driving farmers' income.In this process,agricultural socialization services have played a vital role and become the main force to promote the organic connection between farmers and modern agriculture.However,it is undeniable that the current agricultural socialization service system in Meishan City is still not perfect,the service focus is not prominent enough,and the operation is not standardized;at the same time,some fruit farmers have insufficient comprehensive understanding of the agricultural socialization service system,and there are obvious differences in the demand for socialized service.The significance of the agricultural socialized service system has not been fully reflected.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the problems existing in practice,find out the problems and propose countermeasures in a targeted manner.Based on the perspective of farmers,this paper studies the socialized service needs of farmers in Citrus cultivation in Meishan.First,based on a review of the literature on the development of the citrus industry at home and abroad and the status of socialized services,a field survey and interviews were conducted with 250 farmer households in five key citrus planting townships in Meishan.Second,combined with citrus in Meishan The current status of industrial development,the citrus farmers' awareness,demand,satisfaction,andThe channels for obtaining services are described statistically;further,a logistic binary regression model is used to analyze the influencing factors of socialization service demand willingness of citrus farmers,and on this basis,targeted measures are proposed.The main research conclusions are as follows: 1.The satisfaction of citrus growers with the existing social services is not high,especially the service evaluation in terms of processing,storage and transportation,and information supply is poor,and the level of socialized services needs to be improved.2.The current demand for citrus farming farmers for agricultural socialization services is still in its infancy.The possible reasons for this are in addition to the current low level of service,and may also be the farmers' cognitive limitations caused by insufficient publicity.3.Professional cooperatives have played an important role in the provision of socialized services,and factors such as the age of the farmers,educational level,endowment of family labor resources,and product sales have had an important impact on the demand for socialized services.Therefore,it is necessary to further strengthen the education and training of growers,improve the service subject level,increase the promotion of agricultural technology,vigorously promote the construction of cold chain transportation infrastructure,and expand the channels for market information supply.
