| With the emergence of the "silver wave" in the early 21 st century, the average life expectancy of Chinese people has also been increasing, from 76.34 years to 77.93 years, and the number of elderly people has also been increasing.According to the survey, the number of permanent elderly people with functional disabilities continues to rise to about 22.61 million by 2035.The number of severely disabled elderly is rising rapidly and will reach 7.69 million by 2035.The relative proportion of severely disabled elderly permanent residents in rural areas will rise to 4.75% in 2035。With the increasing number of disabled elderly people, people’s requirements for quality of life are constantly increasing.Daily care for disabled people is a key link to improve the quality of life of disabled people. In the context of rapid economic development and increasingly small family structure, how to improve the status quo of disabled elderly in rural areas is particularly important. This study selected disabled elderly people in rural areas as investigation objects, aiming to understand the daily nursing care status of disabled elderly people.Through field interview, questionnaire survey and empirical analysis and other research methods, interviews were conducted in the rural areas under the authority of F County, and the obtained data were analyzed to describe the current situation of nursing care for the rural elderly.Based on the relevant variables of the three systems(micro system, meso system and macro system)in the social ecosystem theory, regression analysis is carried out on the satisfaction of the disabled elderly’s needs for nursing care, and a theoretical analysis framework is constructed according to the empowerment theory,so as to put forward targeted suggestions and measures for improving the disabled elderly’s nursing service. The results of this study show that:(1)the daily nursing needs of disabled elderly people are not met,and the needs of disabled elderly people for daily nursing services are also different;(2)There are significant differences in disability level and self-rated health status of disabled elderly people in meeting their needs for nursing care;(3)The willingness of caregivers during the period of care, whether the disabled elderly enjoy social assistance and whether the community provides care services have a significant impact on the satisfaction of the disabled elderly with pension services;(4)Relevant variables such as family care system, community care system and government policy system all have a significant impact on the satisfaction degree of the disabled elderly’s needs for old-age care services. In the process of research,it is found that the social ecosystem where disabled elderly people live is not closely connected and immature due to the lack of cohesion mechanism among subsystems, obstacles and other reasons. It is both a long-term and difficult task to construct a perfect and mature social ecosystem for disabled elderly.Based on the analysis framework of system-enhancement theory, this paper proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions to improve the current situation of disabled elderly care in rural areas: first, family care enhancement and reshaping the role of family in the care process.Second, community governance can be enhanced to give full play to the role of endogenous resources in rural communities.Third, policy environment enhancement, actively and effectively formulate special policies to enhance the security capacity of rural communities.Fourth, increase market supply, clarify the responsibilities of all parties, coordination and cooperation.Pay attention to the cultivation of corresponding organizations in the social ecological subsystem, achieve the connection between each system, create a more mature environmental system to enhance the satisfaction of the disabled elderly care needs,so as to improve the status quo of the disabled elderly care in rural areas. |
