In recent years,the rapid development of rural e-commerce in China has become an important force to promote rural development.With the continuous popularization of Internet technology and the continuous expansion of e-commerce market,more and more rural areas began to emerge a number of farmers with innovative spirit and entrepreneurial consciousness of e-commerce enterprises.By establishing e-commerce platforms,these enterprises integrate rural resources,promote agricultural products and increase farmers’ income,while also promoting the development of rural economy and the prosperity of rural markets.With the strong support of the government,rural ecommerce has become a new bright spot and new driving force in China’s rural economic development,making positive contributions to agricultural modernization and rural revitalization.This paper aims to explore whether the development of rural e-commerce can affect the agricultural economy.Through the definition of related concepts,and agricultural informatization,information asymmetry,new economic growth,human capital theory as the research basis,this paper gives the empirical part of the influence factors,explanatory variables and explained variables.At the same time,the analysis of the current situation of the development of rural e-commerce and the development of agricultural economy shows that the current situation of rural e-commerce presents a situation of continuous expansion of market scale,increased policy support,sustained development of logistics distribution,but the infrastructure is not perfect.At the same time,the agricultural economy reflects the continuous improvement of the economy,the continuous increase of farmers’ income,but the serious outflow of rural labor,the level of infrastructure is not high,and the financial system is not sound.This paper discusses both qualitative and quantitative aspects.Firstly,it analyzes the influence mechanism of rural e-commerce development on agricultural economic growth from a qualitative point of view.Secondly,from the quantitative point of view,we collected and processed the relevant data of 23 provinces,5 autonomous regions and4 municipalities from 2011 to 2021 to carry out empirical research.It is found that the development of rural e-commerce has a significant promotion effect on agricultural economic growth,and has the characteristics of regional heterogeneity,that is,the impact of rural e-commerce on agricultural economy is different in different regions,and the impact of different types of crops on agricultural economic growth is different.Finally,based on the conclusion,some suggestions are given.The government should strengthen the all-round construction of rural e-commerce platform;Provide policy support and technical support;In the less developed areas,the policy support for economic development should be strengthened.Enrich non-food high-value crops;Strengthen the network coverage of rural grass-roots organizations and expand the logistics distribution network;Strengthen the training of e-commerce personnel to reduce the outflow of e-commerce personnel;Further improve the e-commerce financial system and create a diversified rural e-commerce sharing ecosystem.
