| Technology is the first productivity. The instance of depending on technology to become prosperous quickly in our poor rural areas fully explicates this point. Through poverty alleviation and exploitation for more than twenty years, A lot of backward rural areas which depended technologies and considered native actual situation have formed characteristic rural regional economy. These areas also demonstrated the point that technology to local conditions was the first important factor to accelerate the development of economy in poor areas. The practice that Zhangbei county made use of agricultural technologies to develop characteristic rural regional economy is the best example. It relied on rural technological advancement to change the worst natural resource into the strength of economic development, give full play to the strength of social and district conditions, make rural economy quickly developed during the short twenty years, and create the miracle of becoming prosperous in poor rural areas' development. Although our governments are actively carrying out the policy about poverty alleviation, but nowadays, there is still many poor areas' economy which develops slowly and can not catch up with the step of marker economy in our country. Therefore, researching the contribution of agricultural technologies for rural economic growth will offer the direction in the aspect of theory and practice to the poor areas in our country.This thesis basing on the theories on development economics, regional economics and agricultural economics, using econometrics as main analysis tool, combining the data which are searched from Zhangbei county, adopted the method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theory and instance, and historical analysis to research the contribution of agricultural technologies for rural economic growth.This thesis is composed of 8 sections.The first chapter mainly expounded the significance and the background of the thesis, the native and foreign theories, the object of study and its concept, the basic content, the data source, the researching direction and the innovation.The second chapter academically analyzed the important significance of agricultural technologies for rural economic growth.The third chapter after combining the theory on regional economics and analyzing the feature of Zhangbei county's regional economy, analyzed the conditions of nature, society, geography and agricultural technologies that developing characteristic rural regional economy needs, father demonstrated the significance of agricultural technologies for Zhangbei county's regional economy.The forth chapter through looking back the fifteen years' rural economic development course in Zhangbei county, demonstrated the direct and indirect contribution of agricultural technologies for this county's economic growth with the actual production of economic development.The fifth chapter in the condition of only considering capital, labor and technology level, used Solow residual method and Eviews3.0 econometric model calculated the contribution rate of agricultural technology's progress.
