The Research On The Development Path Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone

The equipment manufacturing industry is the core of industrial development and an important force in promoting the national economy.Since its establishment in 2017,Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone(Abbreviated as Zhejiang Free Trade Zone)has attached great importance to the development of the equipment manufacturing industry.After several years of exploration,the total output value of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone has achieved rapid growth,but there are still problems such as insufficient optimization of the industrial structure,which urgently need to be further improved.Under this background,analyzing the competitiveness level of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone is of vital significance to the research on the development path of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone.Firstly,this article defines the concept of equipment manufacturing industry,expounds theories such as the theory of national competitive advantage,lays the theoretical foundation for the full text.Secondly,through integrating information on the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone in recent years,the current situation of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone is described from three aspects: industrial situations,spatial layout and representative enterprises.At the same time,the existing problems of equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone are analyzed,and the advanced development experience of equipment manufacturing industry in Guangdong Free Trade Zone is summarized.Thirdly,by using the principal component analysis method,we analyze the competitiveness of 8 sub-industries of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone,and make industrial choices based on the competitiveness ranking and the current situation of industrial development,and analyze the advantageous industries and key cultivation industries in the future of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone.Finally,the paper explores the development path of equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Free Trade Zone with the analysis of existing problems and competitiveness.The research results show that the computer,communication,and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry has the strongest competitiveness,followed by electrical machinery,equipment manufacturing,and automobile manufacturing,which are the dominant industries in the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone.The railway,shipbuilding,aerospace,and other transportation equipment manufacturing industries rank relatively low,and need to focus on cultivating and developing based on the existing advantages of Zhejiang Free Trade Zone.
