The construction of digital villages is a necessary work for rural revitalization in the new era,and the construction of digital villages is also one of the inevitable requirements for realizing agricultural and rural modernization and building a modern socialist power. As the digital economy increasingly affects people’s lives, the digital economy and digital infrastructure in rural areas are still relatively backward compared with urban areas, and there are still large regional gaps. This paper takes Guangshan,Xinyang City,Henan Province as the survey object,Guangshan County,as the old revolutionary area of Dabieshan Mountain, has a certain representative of county digital development in the central and western regions, this paper explores the influencing factors of rural households in Guangshan County to participate in the construction of digital villages, and selects a total of 13 factors as independent variables to explore their impact on the use of advanced digital technology, rural e-commerce development, rural digital governance and other five participation links.Descriptive statistical analysis and binary logistic empirical analysis of the survey data are carried out,and targeted policy suggestions are put forward, and the following research conclusions are obtained:On the whole, the current digital village construction in Guangshan has achieved certain achievements in recent years, rural e-commerce and other new formats have developed well, and regional characteristic industries represented by Guangshan County tea oil have increasingly become rich industries. With the country’s intensification of digital village construction and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the rural population of Guangshan County has returned, but at this stage, the outflow of young people is still serious. From the empirical analysis results of the influencing factors of farmers’ participation in digital village construction.Older respondents and respondents with a large number of households are less willing to participate in digital village construction overall, farmers with higher income levels and farmers with higher education levels are more willing to participate in digital village construction overall, and groups that have known about digital villages or have someone in their families serving as village cadres(or higher)or groups that have understood relevant policy knowledge or have received relevant training have a stronger willingness to participate in digital village construction. In villages with high publicity frequency or groups that believe that joining the digital village construction can bring a certain degree of improvement to their lives, the willingness to participate in the digital village construction is stronger, and the impact of gender and whether or not to support the digital village construction on whether farmers are willing to participate in the digital village construction is not significant. The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are: first,to make up for the shortcomings of digital agricultural machinery facilities in the infrastructure of digital villages; The second is to accelerate the construction of a service platform of "Internet + government services" to ensure the implementation of all-round digital rural services. The third is to promote the construction of local agricultural product branding, accelerate the development of industrial integration to improve the enthusiasm of farmers to participate, and the fourth is to rely on the characteristic humanities and livable conditions of Guangshan to attract high-end talents, encourage talents to return to the county to start businesses, and encourage local enterprises to cultivate talents.
