The Impact Of Digital Economy On Industrial Structure Upgrading

The rapid development of the digital economy has become one of the main driving forces for upgrading the industrial structure.Currently,China is in a critical period of economic restructuring,optimization,transformation,and upgrading,and in-depth study of the relationship between the digital economy and industrial structure.Currently,China is in a critical stage of economic restructuring,optimization,transformation,and upgrading,which will help us better understand the new phenomena and issues arising from the adjustment process of China’s industrial structure,thereby further exploring the direction and path of industrial structure upgrading,Thereby promoting high-quality economic development.This article discusses the relationship between the digital economy and the upgrading of industrial structure in China.The full text mainly conducts research from four aspects: First,on the basis of sorting out research theories,it analyzes the mechanism of development,including the direct and intermediary effects of the development of the digital economy on the upgrading of industrial structure in China.Secondly,it analyzes the overall scale,development speed,and industrial structure of China’s digital economy,and analyzes the changing trend of the digital economy in economic development and industrial structure.Thirdly,using the entropy analysis method,we calculated the development of the digital in 31 provinces from 2013 to2020,which is known as the "Digital Economy Development Index".Then,from the perspective of rationalization and upgrading,the paper studies the changing characteristics of industrial structure upgrading in 31 provinces.Finally,using the "intermediary effect" model,the paper explores the role of the "digital economy" on the "industrial structure upgrading" pathThe research results of this paper are as follows: Firstly,this paper analyzes the digital economy and industrial structure of China,and summarizes the following points: Through entropy analysis,it is found that from 2013 to 2020,the development indicators of the digital economy in various provinces and cities across the country have significantly improved.Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces have a relatively high level of development of the digital economy,and have greater advantages compared to other provinces.China’s industrial structure is gradually developing in a reasonable direction,but its development is uneven within the region.Secondly,through the analysis of the above influencing factors,it is concluded that the level of financial development has a mediating effect on the upgrading of the national industrial structure by the digital economy.This indicates the need to give full play to the role of the digital economy and promote the upgrading of industrial structure in various ways.
