Study On The Impact Of Digital Economy Dvelopment On Farmers’ Income Increase

The issue of "three rural areas" is the top priority of the whole party’s work.In order to effectively solve the problem of "three rural areas",it is necessary to start from the perspective of farmers and promote the increase of farmers’ income.Increasing farmers’ income is the core goal of agricultural development,the key to realizing rural revitalization and agricultural modernization,and the fundamental guarantee for building an agricultural power.Therefore,it is particularly important to establish a long-term mechanism to promote farmers’ income.With the rapid development of the digital economy,emerging information technology methods such as big data analysis and cloud storage can be used to open up new perspectives,new ideas and new paths for measures to increase farmers’ income.Due to the unique advantages of wide coverage and low cost of use,the construction of digital economy can be effectively promoted to benefit rural agricultural development and help farmers increase income to a new level.Therefore,the main content of this study is the impact of the development of digital economy on farmers’ income.This paper is divided into four chapters: the introduction part mainly explains the background of the topic selection of this paper,systematically sorts out the relevant research results,and explains the relationship between the development of digital economy and the increase of farmers’ income.Chapter 1 analyzes the definitions,connotations and theories of digital economy and farmers’ income increase,which provides a strong basis for studying the impact of digital economy development on farmers’ income increase,and discusses the impact mechanism of digital economy development on farmers’ income increase from the perspectives of direct and indirect impact.Chapter 2 uses the entropy method to establish comprehensive evaluation indicators for the development of digital economy from the three dimensions of digital economy construction foundation,digital industrialization and industrial digitalization,and analyzes the current situation of digital economy development from the eastern,central,northeast and western regions.Chapter 3uses data from 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2020 to empirically analyze the impact of digital economy development on farmers’ income increase and the difference between digital economy development and farmers’ income increase in different regions of the eastern,central,northeastern,and western regions.Chapter 4 mainly analyzes the research on the development of digital economy to increase farmers’ income and puts forward policy recommendations.First,the development of digital economy has a significant role in increasing farmers’ income.Second,on the one hand,the development of digital economy can directly promote farmers’ income;On the other hand,it can promote the process of urbanization and indirectly promote the increase of farmers’ income.Third,there is an endogenous problem in the impact of digital economy development on farmers’ income increase,and the lag period of digital economy development is used as a tool variable to solve the endogenous problem.Fourth,there is significant heterogeneity in the role of the development of the digital economy in promoting farmers’ income.According to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following targeted suggestions: First,consolidate the infrastructure of the digital economy to provide impetus for farmers to increase income.Second,accelerate the integration of digital economy and urbanization to form a new impetus for increasing income.Third,implement regional differences in the digital economy and narrow the "digital divide".
