With the development of reform and opening up 40 years ago,China’s economic construction has made unprecedented achievements and various undertakings have developed vigorously.In 2010,China’s gross national product rose to the second place in the world,and in 2021,all Chinese people were lifted out of poverty.These great achievements are the result of the joint efforts of the Party and the people.Thanks to the hard work of the whole country,the average living standard of Chinese residents has been continuously improved.The pharmaceutical industry develops and changes with the improvement of people’s consumption level.Gone are the days when our country was short of medical supplies.Competition within the pharmaceutical industry has intensified,especially in generics.Shanghai Anovent Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.is an inhalant aerosol product development and manufacturing company.Fortunately,the company was trusted by many investment companies and obtained objective financing funds,which paved the way for the company’s subsequent drug development work.After years of development,the company has obtained a number of patented technologies in the field of high-end inhalation aerosol,and is in a leading position in China.But the company has not been profitable,the original products are facing fierce market competition.Through the analysis of the internal and external environmental factors of the company,this paper hopes to get the opportunities and challenges faced by the company as well as its internal advantages and disadvantages.The competitive strategy that conforms to the development of the company is obtained through SWOT matrix matching.Through the careful analysis of this paper,the aerosol products of Shanghai Anovent Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.are suitable to adopt the strategy of concentrated differentiation competition to cope with the current competitive environment.The strategy aims to achieve the established strategic goals of the company quickly and efficiently by concentrating the company’s various resources and adopting such strategic approaches as product differentiation,channel differentiation,service differentiation and brand differentiation.
