Since the reform and opening up, Deng Xiaoping proposed the "letting some people get rich first" is a unbalanced regional economic development policies for the Chinese economy. It has made such an equilibrium among the remarkable achievements. However, the latter part of Deng Xiaoping's policy of "first drive after the rich, to achieve common prosperity for all" is the main objective of China's economic development currently, namely how to achieve the coordinated development of regional economy. From the traditional neo-classical economic theory to study the level of economic growth, regional disparities issues are built on the basis of their micro-constant returns to scale and fully competitive basis, and ignore spatial factors. It is leading to the conclusion that without taking into account the regional spatial correlation of the circumstances. The reality of the region will become an "independent" economies. This article is within the framework of spatial econometrics to study regional economic growth and concentration problems. On the basis of the above, to explore the factors affecting economic growth and concentration, and provide the relevant measurement verification. The main elements are:This article firstly utilize SPSS 15.0 to describe the statistical analysis with the regional economic growth about the related 9 variables. The results showed that from 2003 to 2007 the 5-year level of the Pan-Pearl River Delta region's economy has been greatly improved, and most of the variable trend towards a reduction coefficient of variation. Indicating the construction of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone has certainly played a positive role to reduce the regional economic of development gap and promote coordinated regional economic development. Then utilize GeoDa 9.0.5i software to make econometric tests under space dependence of 9 variables. Based on these results,to carry out spatial econometric modeling. There is a significant concentration of economic growth between regions and exist significant relationship between spatial lag. Spatial lag model (SLM) setting is appropriate and fitting results superior to OLS estimates. Comparative analysis revealed that the impact of the investment in fixed assets are decling, social capital in the economy become increasingly clear and education has not to play its main role. Industrial restructuring trend is clearly, urbanization played an active role on narrowing regional economic disparities. Finally, according to empirical results to made a number of policy recommendations.
