| The employees of new generation who have different work values compared with other generations are entering the workplace,which brings new challenges to HRM.The Internet industry where Company A belongs to is changing fast and the new generation employees are facing increased pressure,which has not only hindered new generation employees from adaping to workplace,but also the company’s work performance.Therefore,it is worthwhile to explore the work stress and coping strategies of the new generation of employees in Company A.This article takes A compony’s new generation employees as the research object.First,it sorts out relevant theories and research results on work pressure and stress management strategies both at home and abroad,combined with the new generation’s characteristics of Internet employees,thus forming the theoretical basis of the thesis.Second,the paper examines current situation of A compony and the new generation’s pressure management.Through the questionnaire survey and employees’ interviews,we can analyse the perception and source of work pressure,as well as the work stress coping strategies,etc.The main problems of the new generation of employees with high work pressure are summarized as follows:(1)The new generation has a high sense of stress,especially for those in the management hierarchy;(2)Work itself and interpersonal relationship are the main sources of work stress;(3)The new generation of non-Shanghai employees have the dual pressure of performance and career development;(4)The company lacks a stress management mechanism.From the perspective of organizational management,this paper proposes the following approaches:(1)Providing a professional personalized training system based on the characteristics of the new generation,such as upgrading the competency model and formulating a scientific employee rotation program;(2)Matching career development planning based on management of collaborative goal;(3)Providing material and spiritual incentives based on individual needs,such as optimizing remuneration system and offering coaching techniques lessons to help promote communication management;(4)Providing EAP based on interpersonal care to shape the growth-oriented corporate culture atmosphere.According to the research stated,this paper proposes to provide ideas and methods to work stress management for the new generation in A Internet companies,so as to provide reference for companies from the same industry. |
