Research On Optimization Of Garment Purchasing Supplier Management Of YT Company

Under the repeated epidemic,strengthening the body to enhance immunity has become a necessity.With the 2022 Winter Olympics,there has been a surge of snow and ice sports,and the demand for sports clothing such as ski suits and waterproof jackets has also increased.In China,the textile and garment industry,because the demographic dividend gradually disappeared,the manufacturing cost increased,simple style and large number of orders have been transferred from the domestic to Southeast Asian countries.YT Company is Shenzhen office of Swiss Sporting goods Purchasing headquarters.Responsible for the procurement of apparel,footwear and fitness equipment from Southeast Asian suppliers.After 2018,YT’s apparel procurement strategy shifted from China to other countries in Southeast Asia,leading to changes in YT’s supplier demand and more complex supplier management.The management system of YT’s apparel procurement supplier is in urgent need of optimization and improvement.In this paper,base on relevant theories of supplier management,many problems in the management of apparel suppliers were analyzed according to literature research,interview,case analysis and other methods.For example,the selection and the consideration of new suppliers were not comprehensive,leading to the uneven technical level of introduced new suppliers,factory production level and order technology request don’t match well.Supplier relationship tends to be traditional rather than cooperative partnership,so suppliers have poor willingness to cooperate;Lack of effective supplier performance evaluation.To solve these problems,Pareto diagram analysis and analytic hierarchy process were used to propose corresponding solutions,including supplier selection process and mechanism construction,supplier relationship management optimization,as well as the establishment of supplier performance evaluation system,so as to optimize YT’s supplier management,so as to improve the company’s economic benefits and competitiveness.Through the research and application of this paper,not only YT company has practical significance.but also can provide reference for similar enterprises.
