Analysis On The Level Of Urban-rural Integration And Its Influencing Factors In Zunyi County

As urbanisation continues to advance in the new era,the relationship between urban and rural areas in China has also undergone profound changes,with closer interaction between urban and rural factors and resources,and the equalisation of their public services.The strategy of integrated urban-rural development is an important deployment to promote the coordinated development of China’s regions,which can effectively narrow the differences between urban and rural areas and stimulate the endogenous power of the countryside.The county,as the central area connecting the two ends of the city and the countryside,is a key entry point profoundly related to the ability to promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas.It is linked to the countryside at one end and to the city at the other,and has a relatively well-established economic system and social functions.At the present stage,research has focused on the analysis of the level of urban-rural integration in national and provincial areas,with less specific research on urban-rural integration in county areas;as an important node city in the whole southwest region going south to north,the study of urban-rural integration in Zunyi is of great significance in promoting its high-quality economic,social and ecological development;it can also provide positive thoughts for the future development of urban-rural areas in the less developed regions in western China.In this context,this paper firstly systematically summarises the latest progress of urban-rural integration research at home and abroad,and analyses and summarises the realistic basis of urban-rural development in Zunyi region in the light of Marx’s idea of urban-rural integration and the theory of urban-rural symbiosis.Based on its urban-rural development data from 2012-2021,the system was combined with the entropy value method to comprehensively evaluate the Zunyi region and establish evaluation criteria.Additional,the Dagum Gini coefficient was used to explore regional differences,a regression model was applied to further analyse the factors affecting the development of urban-rural integration in Zunyi region,with a view to providing a basis for promoting the development of urban-rural integration in Zunyi region.The conclusions show that the level of urban-rural integration development in 14 counties and districts in Zunyi region has generally changed from low level integration to medium-low level integration stage in ten years,and the regional differences in the level of urban-rural integration in counties are more obvious,and there is still a large gap from the high level integration stage.The analysis of the influencing factors reveals that the factors affecting the development of urban-rural integration vary from region to region,but they all focus on five dimensions:industrial development,social undertakings,factor flow,spatial integration and ecological environment.Based on this,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions in order to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas in Zunyi,promote urban-rural integration and ultimately achieve common prosperity.
