| The automotive industry is known as the pearl in the crown of the modern manufacturing industry,as its prominent features include but are not limited to the long industrial chain,the wide range of processes,high requirements for large-scale supply,and high requirements for product quality,including reliability,which result in quality management is one of the focuses and research directions in the automotive industry.With the increasingly fierce market competition,the current development of the automotive industry also shows many new features and challenges,including more and more diverse and complex product functions,short project development and verification time,and great pressure of price competition.In the face of such a series of industry challenges,customers’ requirements for product and process quality have not been relaxed,and even become stricter.In this severe form,the quality management of the company on this industrial chain has been put forward higher requirements.Against this background,starting with the product quality perspective the study is to identify and analyze the company quality management weakness in a systematic manner from company layer,project layer and product layer quality management perspectives separately by taking auto parts S company as the research object,mainly focuses on problem root cause analysis for below four areas,and designs the relevant improvement concepts accordingly,and helps the company to improve quality management consequently.Firstly,to improve the quality management system operational efficiency by optimizing quality management system framework design,introducing more suitable documentation management platform,and optimizing QMS effectiveness and continuous improvement mechanism.Secondly,to achieve more elaborate management for samples by refining APQP milestones,defining deliverables for each milestone and optimizing process monitoring and management methodology with the help of suitable IT tools.Thirdly,to help the organization to identify potential failure models earlier and more holistic by refining FMEA process,introducing suitable tool,and proposing foundation FMEA introduction program.Fourthly,to help the organization to improve knowledge management,especially for technical relevant lessons in a more efficient way by introducing lesson learnt filter process,and defining relevant approval and management approach.The study of this paper insists on the combination of quality management theory and practice,hopefully it shall provide relevant profits and reference for other companies in this industry,and help to improve the quality management of domestic automotive supply chain. |
