At present, the way how to further meet customers' needs and improve quality of products in product design and development is critical for enterprises to stand out in globalized competition. But in our country, most enterprise's quality management unable to take the customer as the center of its management and make the different management tools combined used. In this case, the article tries to construct two integrated quality management models, the integrated QFD model which combined the FMEA and the integrated FMEA model which combined the QFD. From the perspective of customers, this article tries to improve the stability of the product, make the whole process of product like manufacturing, assembly and inspection all in controlled.Failure modes and effects analysis FMEA, is used to predict the potential failure modes, so it can avoid the hidden quality troubles exposed in the manufacturing process. Quality function deployment QFD, is directed by the market demand and customer satisfaction, it aims to ensure the product quality and broaden the market. This paper constructs two integrated models of FMEA and QFD, one kind is QFD model based on FMEA, it is a kind of improved QFD model in essence. In this integrated model, the risk priority number(RPN) of the risk assessment indicator, which was the major tool of FMEA, was improved; meanwhile, the improved results were fed back in QFD to reassess the target values. In this way, a model which can not only truly meet the customers' needs, but also achieve the sustainable improvement of products was constructed. The other kind is FMEA model based on QFD, it is a kind of improved FMEA model in essence. In this integrated model, QFD is help to list the failure modes as comprehensive as possible, and it transform the customer needs' information into the problem we need to solve. After the two quality control tools are integrated, this new integrated model can not only considers the customer needs, but also find out the occurrence frequency of a failure mode and the severity of the influences caused by a failure mode.The two kinds integration models were applied to gear reducer 's design and T2-BGA packaging's risk prediction, to verify their scientific and practicality. The gear reducer, produced by A Company is a kind of transmission equipment, it using the gear's transmission to achieve the goal of slow down the speed. In the long run of the reducer, the problems of wear and leakage often occurred. In order to make the hidden potential quality problems be predicted in the process of development and design process of the products, the QFD model based on FMEA was applied into it. T2-BGA, the full name of it is ball packaging machinery, is produced by B Company. It is used to package the high density and high performance's products like the CPU and IC chip. Consider of the complexity of T2-BGA packaging machinery, the fault prediction technology should be more comprehensive than the traditional FMEA model. Consequently, the FMEA model based on QFD was applied into it. After the two integrated models put into use, they both successfully improved the reliability of the original modes, and ensure the products quality status in its whole life cycle be in good control.
