With the automotive industry being increasingly crowded, domestic automobile company is facing fierce competition against the mature brand including the foreign corporation and joint venture enterprise. In this way, quality management becomes an important tool to occupy the current market for auto brands. According to the correlated statistics, almost 70% of whole automotive parts are supplied by supplier during the process of car manufacturing so that the quality of supplier's product influences the whole car directly. For an automobile corporation, the establishment of supplier quality evaluation system can improve the productive quality of suppliers, helping enterprises to improve the quality management capability and reduce the cost effectively.This paper aims at the application status and current problems of the supplier quality evaluation systems in BQ company Corporation Zhuzhou branch, and analyzes the defects and deficiencies of the evaluation principles and scoring criteria about quality evaluation system based on the existing data in the factory. The vehicle factory quality system and performance evaluation are studied in detail through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) management and PDCA circulatory improvement. By the combination of APQP and supplier quality evaluation, some applied methods of improvement are proposed to optimize the current supplier quality evaluation including establishing APQP group, and elimination for supplier as well as control of product plan. Process quality control is emphasized from the selection of new supplier. This method is applied to improve the capability of enterprise quality management and solve the quality defects in supplier evaluation system.The main research content of this paper is as follow:(1)The application of APQP in the evaluation of BQ company branch suppliers. Most of the suppliers'evaluation, management and measurement are post processing, which means that the problems are evaluated and managed after they have already occurred. In this paper, the analysis of APQP is applied into the suppliers'evaluation of the company so that the suppliers can be assessed and supervised during the process. As a result, this method can improve quality level of both the suppliers and the original equipment manufacturer with reducing the cost at the same time.(2)The application of PDCA cycle in the assessment and management of BQ company branch suppliers. To promote the level of suppliers' quality steadily, this paper proposes to apply PDCA cycle into the evaluation of suppliers. The quality level of suppliers could improve continuously through the application of PDCA cycle so that the corporation's quality of the whole automobile promotes steadily.
