In recent years, the aging level of our country has been aggravated, and the burden of social endowment has increased. With the change of social structure, the function of family pension is weakening, but the demand for pension is increasing.Especially in the rural areas where the economy is relatively backward and the pension infrastructure is insufficient, the pension problem is becoming more and more severe, which also leads to serious social problems. As a pension model emerging in recent years, mutual support pension can be used as a supplement for family pension and social pension with its advantages of low cost, easy promotion and staying in the village.Especially in the less developed rural areas in central and western China, mutual support for the elderly with its unique advantages can relieve the existing pension system can not solve the partial contradictions, reduce the pressure of rural pension. The development of old-age care in rural areas cannot be separated from people, and the quasi-elderly,as a major new force in rural areas, can not only promote the re-employment of the quasi-elderly,reduce the burden of social pension, but also transform the value and ability of the quasi-elderly into social productive forces. As a provider of old-age care services, the quasi-elderly can provide labor services for rural old-age care and alleviate the increasingly severe pressure of old-age care in rural areas. In order to expand the channels of pension supply,it is necessary to understand how to promote the quasi-elderly to participate in the pension,so it is necessary to find out the factors affecting the willingness of the quasi-elderly to support each other. And to understand how various factors affect the demand and supply willingness of rural quasi-elderly mutual support.Based on this, this paper first summarizes the existing studies, defines the two key concepts of mutual care for the aged and the quasi-elderly,proposes hypotheses, selects variables and builds a model.Taking Longchang City of Sichuan Province as an example, this paper investigates the willingness of the rural elderly to support each other through interviews and questionnaires.Firstly, descriptive analysis of sample characteristics was carried out,and then significant variables among influencing factors were screened out through interactive analysis. Then, from the four dimensions of individual, family, society and supporting behavior cognition, the willingness of the rural quasi-elderly to help each other for the aged is studied, and analyzed from the perspectives of demand and supply. The comprehensive analysis draws the following conclusions: In the perspective of mutual support for the elderly in rural areas, nine factors, such as education level, annual income, distance from the working place, neighborhood relationship, have a significant impact on the intention of mutual support for the elderly in rural areas. From the perspective of supply, five factors such as gender and self-rated health had a significant impact on the supply intention of medical care services, three factors such as weekly working hours had a significant impact on the supply intention of business agency services, and five factors such as annual income had a significant impact on the supply intention of life care services.Based on the results of field visits and research conclusions, this paper proposes four policy suggestions from the perspectives of government, society and individuals, including strengthening policy support, strengthening social support, strengthening publicity and strengthening awareness of participation.
