| Property insurance,as a kind of insurance subject to property and its related interests,is an important industry of modern economy and an important means of social risk management.Its insurance types are very rich,covering all fields of economic and social development,and playing the role of social "stabilizer" and economic "booster".The diversified development strategy of property insurance companies promotes the continuous development and expansion of the scale of Chinese insurance industry.JN property insurance Company,as a three-level institution in the corporate framework,that is,a prefecture-level institution,is the front subject to carry out insurance business and provide insurance services directly to the front-line of the market.The quality and effectiveness of its implementation of diversified management development strategy has a decisive impact on the overall development level of the company and even the high-quality development of the industry.This thesis takes the property insurance company in JN City as the research object,introduces the existing theoretical theories and research results on diversification and management efficiency,and analyzes the development process and current situation of diversification operation of property insurance company in JN city through data.Based on the diversified business model of prefecture-level property insurance companies selling different types of insurance directly to consumers through various sales channels,in the empirical research part,this thesis selected the business data of 23 property insurance companies in JN from 2013 to 2022 as research samples.A business efficiency evaluation index system was constructed from three aspects: speed,scale,benefit and quality,and social contribution.The principal component analysis method was used to measure the business efficiency score and take it as explained variable,and the Herfindahl index was used to measure the types of insurance and the diversification of sales channels of property insurance companies as explained variables.Control variables were introduced to construct a random effects model for analysis.The results show that the influence of insurance diversification on operating efficiency presents a "positive U-shaped" relationship,and the influence of sales channel diversification on operating efficiency presents an "inverted U-shaped" relationship.This thesis studied the relationship between the diversified business mode of property insurance companies in JN City on the operation efficiency,and combined with the conclusions,put forward suggestions on the development of property insurance industry in JN city from two dimensions of property insurance companies themselves and external factors,including property insurance companies,government departments,insurance regulatory departments and industry associations. |
