Abstract/Summary:
With the advancement of technology and the impact of the global epidemic,my country’s garment production industry is facing new opportunities and challenges.On the one hand,domestic residents’ consumption of clothing has gradually shifted from the low-end market to the high-end market,and they have gradually paid attention to clothing brands when purchasing clothing;on the other hand,other developing countries have quickly crowded out the international market of my country’s clothing production industry with lower labor costs.As the world’s largest garment exporter,my country’s garment manufacturing enterprises are also expanding.Facing such a fierce competitive environment,how to improve efficiency and reduce costs has become the primary task for the development of garment manufacturers.This thesis takes the J men’s jeans production line of SYT Company as the research object,and uses industrial engineering method,facility layout planning,production line balance,and Flex Sim simulation software to optimize.Firstly,relevant theoretical methods are introduced,including stopwatch method,program analysis and job analysis related content,ECRS balance improvement law,overview and steps of SLP method,calculation formula of production line balance rate and Flex Sim simulation software.Secondly,through on-the-spot investigation,we collected specific production data,analyzed the status quo of the J men’s jeans production line,delineated the operating units,and calculated the balance rate of the current production line to be 34.99%,with a daily output of 300 pieces.Then use the SLP method to analyze the logistics relationship,non-logistics relationship,and comprehensive relationship between the operating units of the J men’s jeans production line,calculate the current logistics transportation distance is 348.2 meters,and the handling workload is84142.79 kg·m,and draw the position correlation Figure,according to the actual area requirements of each operating unit in the production workshop and location correlation diagram to re-plan the workshop layout of the production line.Finally,ECRS,5W1 H and other methods are used to optimize the process and operation of the production line.And use Flex Sim software to model and simulate the production line before and after improvement to verify the optimization effect.Through optimization and improvement,the logistics transportation distance of the J men’s jeans production line was reduced to 80.4 meters,a reduction of 76.91%;the handling workload was reduced to 9923.55 kg·m,a reduction of 88.22%.The production line balance rate increased to 81.53%,an increase of 46.54%.Produce 490 pairs of jeans per day,and reduce the daily working hours of production workers from 10 hours to 8 hours while ensuring production capacity.This thesis provides theoretical guidance for traditional clothing manufacturers to improve production efficiency by optimizing the J men’s jeans production line,improving the balance rate of the production line,improving production efficiency,and reducing production costs.
