| Digital economy is an emerging industry based on science and technology,which promotes the integrated development of various industries and gives birth to many new industries,new models and new demands.Under the dual cycle pattern,vigorously developing the digital economy can guide the adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure and promote the development of the Chinese economy to a higher level.Under this background,to study the development status of digital economy deeply,and analyze its impact on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,has a certain practical significance to promote the development of digital economy and the adjustment of industrial structure.In this paper,we review the related studies of the digital economy and the optimization and upgrading of industy structure,and analyze the internal mechanism of the digital.The index system is enriched by introducing indicators such as the number of industrial Internet users,the number of 5G base stations,the number of IPV6 addresses and the consumer goods online.A comprehensive evaluation index system for digital economy development has been established,with six second-level indicators and 28 third-level indicators,from the three aspects of digital integration development,innovation development and infrastructure construction.The data used in the relevant indicators of 30 provinces and cities from 2010 to 2021 are collected and analyzed.Based on the entropy method,we get the integrated score of 30 provinces and cities by using the linear weighting method.As for the industrial structure,this paper measures it from the two aspects of refinement and rationalization.Finally,a panel smooth transition regression model is constructed to study the linear and non-linear effects of the digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of industry structure.This paper draws the following conclusion: 1.From 2010 to 2021,the development level of digital economy in Chinese provinces and cities is constantly improving.However,due to the impact of the epidemic,some provinces have developed less in the past two years than before.There are great regional differences between different regions.On the whole,the development of digital economy in eastern provinces and cities is faster than that in western regions.Regions with a higher level of digital economy will grow more rapidly than regions with less developed economies.Second,the empirical results of the panel smooth transformation regression model indicate that the development of the digital economy has a non-linear influence on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.(1)Below the threshold value,the development of digital economy inhibits the rationalization of industrial structure.When the threshold value is exceeded,the inhibiting effect is weakened and transformed into promoting effect.And with the development of digital economy,so does the role of facilitation.(2)Below the threshold value,the development of digital economy promotes the level of industrial structure.When the threshold value is crossed,it turns to inhibit the level of industrial structure upgrading,and with the development of digital economy,the inhibitory effect will gradually increase.(3)The development level of digital economy below the threshold value promotes the upgrading of industrial structure.After the threshold is crossed,it still plays a catalytic role,and with the development of the digital economy,the catalytic role is gradually increased.After the second threshold is crossed,the promotion effect will gradually decrease with the development of digital economy. |
