| With the continuous advancement of economic globalization and urbanization,regional development resilience has become a topic of great concern.Regional development resilience refers to a region’s ability to cope with external shocks,which includes not only the ability to resist external shocks such as natural disasters and economic risks,but also internal factors such as adaptability,learning ability and innovation capacity.In order to better resist disturbances and risks and achieve sustainable regional development,more and more scholars and policy makers are focusing on resilience evaluation and enhancement studies.Chongqing,as a typical inland city,has received extensive attention on its regional development resilience in the face of diversified internal and external challenges.Therefore,this paper took Chongqing city as an example to explore the comprehensive evaluation index system of regional development resilience and propose corresponding enhancement strategies to provide reference and reference for regional development resilience enhancement in Chongqing city and other similar regions.This paper first summarizes the research results on regional resilience at home and abroad,based on resilience theory,sustainable development theory,and incorporating complex system and mutation theory perspectives,to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the analysis of this paper.Then,the traditional comprehensive resilience index method and the emerging mutation level method are applied to assess the regional development resilience of Chongqing,and the correlation between the two methods is analyzed to provide a new perspective for the subsequent resilience analysis of large cities.Then,a coupling model is introduced to consider the coordination of regional development resilience in Chongqing and analyze the timeseries differences,and finally,a stepwise regression method is applied to analyze the important influencing factors of regional development resilience in Chongqing.The results of the study are as follows.(1)Based on the premise that Chongqing is a complex regional system,the results of measuring the regional development resilience and four subsystemseconomic resilience system,social resilience system,infrastructure resilience,and ecological environment resilience-are approximately the same and significantly correlated using the composite resilience index method and the mutation level method respectively,thus proving the reliability of the mutation level method in measuring regional development resilience.(2)The chronological evolution of regional sustainability in Chongqing shows a general trend of development from low to high levels.From a low level of resilience in 2012 to a high level of resilience in 2021,the evolution of resilience in the four subsystems is also increasing year by year.(3)Used the stepper-step linear regression method, from the four perspectives of economy, society, infrastructure, environment and ecology, the key factors affecting the resilience of Chongqing’s regional development are analyzed.Among them, the proportion of tertiary industry in GDP, the regression coefficient of per capita disposable income of urban permanent residents and per capita road area. The industrial wastewater discharge has the most significant impact on the resilience of regional development. And put forward the corresponding promotion strategy. |
