With the booming development of the Internet of Things,the Internet of Things has been applied in various industries,such as traffic,fire protection,environmental protection,health and so on,playing a pivotal role in various fields.In order to promote the implementation of relevant technologies,so that the Internet of things technology can better serve the public.In this context,the loss of technical personnel familiar with intelligent technology and embedded system will have a significant negative impact on the development of enterprises.This paper takes S Company as the research object,based on the literature analysis of employee turnover model theory,relevant literature and research results,firstly analyzes the industry background of the Internet of Things and the basic situation of S Company,summarizes the current situation of technical staff turnover of S Company,and then through questionnaire survey and interview,Data statistics are made for the employees who quit over the years and the on-the-job willingness of all employees.On the basis of investigation and research,the paper summarizes the main reasons for the loss of technical personnel in S company:(1)the lack of challenging work,the personality of employees does not match the nature of the post,which is the personal factor of the technical personnel dimission;(2)The imperfect salary system,lack of promotion opportunities and long working hours are caused by internal reasons of the company;(3)The large talent gap in the industry and the large number of external employment opportunities for employees also promote the willingness of technical personnel to leave.In view of the reasons analyzed in this paper,the countermeasures to the loss of technical personnel are put forward:(1)understand the competitors in the industry,learn and absorb their advantages.(2)Improve the employee compensation system and personnel training mechanism.(3)Formulate reasonable performance appraisal system,overtime management system and provide employees with career development and more opportunities for promotion.(4)Arrange employees’ work positions and work contents reasonably,and guide employees’ psychological expectations reasonably.(5)Strengthen communication and management with employees and timely understand their true thoughts.This paper hopes to reduce the turnover rate of S company and retain the technical personnel as much as possible by studying the problem of the turnover of S company’s technical personnel.It also provides reference for the loss of technical personnel in the same industry.
