As the arrival of knowledge economy, professional and technical personnel are playing a more and more important role. Nowadays, to a large extent, the success of the enterprises depends on their key techniques and products, as well as their ability and motivation to innovate. However, all these factors need to be realized by professional and technical personnel. Therefore, issues such as how to encourage professional and technical personnel, how to improve their job performance, and further to promote the performance of the whole enterprise have become the focus for most enterprises. On the basis of such a background, this study discusses the influence of employee-organization relationship on professional and technical personnel's job performance. Firstly, the study recalls relative literatures and the development trends of employee-organization relationship, job embeddedness and perceived organization support. Secondly, on the basis of relative empirical studies, the study takes the job embeddedness and perceived organizational support as the mediator to study the influence of employee-organization relationship on job performances. Thirdly, on the basis of personal interviews and open-questionnaire survey, the study develops a new measure of employee-organization relationship to professional and technical personnel. Meanwhile, two rounds of survey, which includes the whole sample of 547 respondents, will test its reliability and validity. Finally, through the statistic analysis of 246 respondents from professional and technical personnel, the construct and hypotheses of this study has been testified, and the following are the conclusions:(1) Issues that professional and technical personnel pay most attention to are whether the enterprise possesses some specific feature and atmosphere, whether the enterprise respects professional and technical personnel, as well as whether the enterprise can provide good rewards, while issues that enterprises pay most attention to are whether the professional and technical personnel possess necessary knowledge and abilities, professional qualities and the spirit of dedication. This conclusion extends the former study to employee-organization relationship that aims at Chinese middle managers, and points out that besides job rewards, professional and technical personnel also emphasizes some condition of the enterprise itself and the level of repect to talent.(2) As the improvement of the levels of enterprises' provided inducements and expected contributions, professional and technical personnel will provide higherattitude perception and better job performance. Specifically, when the level of enterprises' provided inducements exceed average, professional and technical personnel will provide more favorable job embeddedness and perceived organizational support, regardless of the level of expected contributions. But only when the levels of enterprises' provided inducements and expected contributions all exceed average, professional and technical personnel will provide maximal job performance.(3) Job embeddedness and perceived organizational support have significant positive effect on professional and technical personnel's job performance. The study testifies the conclusions that former researchers obtain, indicating that the more the job embeddedness and the higher the perceived organizational support are, the better the professional and technical personnel's performance are.(4) Employee-organization relationship will affect professional and technical personnel's job performance through the effect of job embeddedness and perceived organizational support. The study points out the causality of the relationship between the employee-organization relationship and job performance originally, indicating that when the employee-organization relationship changes, the influence will reflect on professional and technical personnel's job embeddedness- and perceived organizational support firstly, and reflect on their job performance further.(5) Professional and technical personnel's job embeddedness will affect job performance through the effect of perceived organizational support. The study points out the causality of the relationship between job embeddedness and job performance originally, indicating that when job embeddedness changes, the influence will reflect on professional and technical personnel's perceived organizational support firstly, and reflect on their job performance further.
