| In the PC Internet era,limited by the number of Internet products and the speed of update iterations,the company’s demand for the position of product manager is not yet obvious.Entering the era of mobile Internet,the demand has shown explosive growth,and a large number of mobile products have emerged in the market.With the strategic shift from the mobile Internet to the industrial Internet,in-depth services are needed in vertical industries,thus putting forward new requirements for product managers in all aspects of competency.In the case of oversupply in the talent market,how to design a scientific and reasonable recruitment system and efficiently recruit high-quality product managers is the key to guaranteeing the competitiveness of the company’s products.At present,research on product managers at home and abroad mainly focuses on theoretical overviews of the tasks and roles of product managers in traditional enterprises.Few have combined the actual practical cases of mobile Internet enterprises.Therefore,based on the development strategy,corporate culture and job characteristics of MT enterprises,this paper has far-reaching implications for the construction of a competence model for Internet product managers and its application to the practice of recruitment system design.This paper includes six chapters.Chapter 1,the introductory section,introduces the background,research content and technical line of the paper;Chapter 2 mainly defines the concept and current situation analysis of Internet product managers,the current research status of competencies and competency models,the application research of competency theory in recruitment and the literature review;The third chapter mainly introduces the general situation of MT company,the recruitment system of MT company’s Internet product managers,and the problems existing in the recruitment system and the analysis of their causes;The fourth chapter mainly introduces the construction of the competency model of the Internet product manager,and finally extracts 28 job competency factors of the product manager in the Internet industry;In Chapter 5,based on the competency model constructed in the previous chapter,this paper practices the whole process of recruitment and concludes the design of the recruitment system under the competency perspective.Chapter 6 summarizes the conclusions,shortcomings,and new perspectives of this paper.A distinctive feature of the writing of this paper is the design of a model of competence adapted to the characteristics of Internet firms,with emphasis on the generic competencies of product managers in Internet firms.It dismantles the life cycle of Internet products and refines core competencies in the selection of competency elements.This paper applies the competency model to the recruitment management of product managers in Internet companies from recruitment demand planning,recruitment channel,competency interview and recruitment effect evaluation,designs the recruitment system of MT companies,and summarizes the four dimensions of professionalism,potential,culture matching and leadership and 28 job competency elements to select Internet product managers. |
