Research On The Impact Of The Development Of The Golden Tea Industry In Baojing County On The Income Increase Of Farmers

Developing industries is the fundamental strategy for poverty alleviation.Developing industries is not only the practical foundation for increasing farmers’income and achieving poverty alleviation,but also a long-term measure to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation,achieve stable poverty alleviation,and continuously increase income.Industrial revitalization is also the top priority of rural revitalization.How to pay attention to market demand,develop advantageous industries,and benefit rural farmers more and better based on characteristic resources is of great theoretical and practical significance for deepening the implementation of rural revitalization strategy and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization in the new development stage.As of December 2022,the comprehensive output value of the gold tea industry in Baojing County reached 2.1 billion yuan,with 80000 farmers benefiting from tea.The development of the gold tea industry has played an irreplaceable role in increasing the income of farmers in deeply impoverished areas such as Baojing County.Firstly,this article reviews literature on the development of characteristic agricultural industries,the influencing factors of farmers’ income growth,and the impact of characteristic agricultural industry development on farmers’ income growth.On this basis,taking the Baojing golden tea industry as the research object,the starting point of the study is how the development of the Baojing golden tea industry promotes the increase of local farmers’ income.Then,the concepts of Baojing Golden Tea and farmers’ income were defined;Based on the theories of human capital,transaction costs,economies of scale,and agricultural industrialization,this study analyzes the mechanism of the impact of tea industry development on farmers’ income growth.Subsequently,first-hand data and materials were obtained through interviews and on-site visits with the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Xiangxi Prefecture,one leading enterprise,and multiple farmers.Finally,this article utilized research data and government statistical data to comprehensively analyze the development of the Baojing Golden Tea industry and the income increase of farmers.Descriptive statistical analysis was used to conduct statistical analysis on 424 valid questionnaire surveys,focusing on individual characteristics,natural factors,social factors,market factors,and other factors that affect the income increase of farmers.The research results indicate that infrastructure,knowledge spillover,production technology,government support,market economy,and production organization methods have a significant positive impact on farmers’ income growth.Based on the further analysis of the research results,the following suggestions are put forward:First,increase government support and improve infrastructure construction.Secondly,increase brand cultivation and enhance market competitiveness.Thirdly,improve the quality of farmers and improve the construction of technical talent teams.Fourthly,build a consortium of interest organizations to increase farmers’ income.Fifth,strengthen the improvement of production technology and establish an agricultural technology promotion system.
