Since the emergence of the COVID-19 in China and the spread of the COVID-19 abroad in 2020,the domestic tourism industry has been in a state of prosperity and decline under the repeated impact of the epidemic.The fluctuation of the tourism industry has directly produced a butterfly effect on the operation of the hotel industry.The low and peak seasons of the hotel industry have changed from seasonal,regional and other factors to epidemic.The turbulent market environment has repeatedly reshuffled the uneven brands in the hotel industry,and it is normal to retain the strong and eliminate the weak.The key to the survival of hotel brands is to seize the favorable market opportunities and create considerable profits.How to accurately judge market changes,realize corporate profits and maintain good hotel operating conditions under severe challenges,people are the top priority.In the increasingly competitive hotel service industry,without professional operation and management,products and services cannot be maximized in value and become superficial.Recruitment and training of excellent operation management talents is an important task of human resource management in many hotel management companies.WD Hotel Management Company was established in 2014,headquartered in Jinan,Shandong Province,and its WD hotel is a mid to high-end hotel chain brand.At present,there are more than ten stores in Shandong Province.This development speed is not fast compared with other brands.Even so,in this store base,there have been problems such as inadequate store operation and management,and difficult implementation of standardization work.The root cause of these problems is that WD management company has been short of professional talents in key posts of operation and management.It is difficult to recruit from outside,due to geographical reasons,the lack of operating talents in high-end chain hotels,and the small influence of WD brand,which makes it difficult to introduce excellent talents.Therefore,building a talent training system is another effective way to solve the talent problem.This paper analyzes the current situation of talent cultivation in WD Hotel Management Company’s operation and management post by means of questionnaire,interview and SWOT analysis,and selects the potential talents that can be trained in the post by using the competency model theory,talent inventory and other methods,and formulates targeted training programs with the help of training related theories.In order to ensure the effective implementation of talent training,this paper will use incentive theory,learning organization theory,etc.,to comprehensively guarantee the implementation of talent training,and establish a sound talent development work from the four aspects of "selection,education,employment and retention".Combining the current situation and future development needs of WD Hotel Management Company,strive to achieve the "balance between supply and demand" of talents. |
