Pension trusteeship refers to the services provided by trustees to funds such as social security funds,occupational pension funds,remuneration and benefit plans,and corporate pension funds,as well as their investment and operation income.The state actively promotes the top-level design of pension services and the implementation of various supporting policies to further promote the development of pension trusteeship business.The pension custody business links three major product lines:corporate,interbank and individual pensions,with long business cooperation period and high customer stickiness,which can create diversified cross-selling opportunities for commercial banks and is of great operational value.This thesis takes Bank C as the research object,comprehensively analyzes the current situation of the development of Bank C’s pension custody business,introduces the basic situation of Bank C,the overview of the development of asset custody business and the development of pension custody business,and uses tools such as PEST analysis,five forces model,SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix to explore the selection and implementation of competitive strategies for Bank C’s pension custody business.The study finds that Bank C,as the first batch of pension custodian banks,faces problems such as single customer acquisition method,rigid service method,insufficient technical support and lack of professional talents,and needs to adjust and optimize its development strategy urgently.The four major state-owned banks with strong comprehensive strength have become the pioneers in business development and maintained their market position by virtue of their scale effect.Some joint-stock banks with relatively flexible mechanisms attach importance to the research and development of custodian systems and increase their market share by improving customer experience.The competition among custodian banks is becoming increasingly fierce,and the traditional marketing methods and service means of C-banks cannot stand out from the market.The customized service demands made by customers of pension custody business have raised higher standards and requirements for the quality and efficiency of professional services of custodian banks.By analyzing the feasibility of three competitive strategies:cost leadership strategy,differentiation strategy and focus strategy,the differentiation strategy is finally chosen.The innovation of this thesis lies in the application of innovation,proposing new ideas for the development of Bank C’s pension custodian business,detailing the advantages of Bank C’s custodian experience and scale,the disadvantages of its lack of innovation and its ability to provide comprehensive services,as well as the opportunities and threats it faces in the competitive market.It concludes that Bank C should invest resources in marketing,system innovation and customer service,and proposes a series of implementation guarantee measures such as optimizing organizational structure,securing human resources,innovating operation system and improving risk prevention.The study concludes that Bank C should invest resources in marketing,system innovation and customer service,and propose a series of implementation measures to optimize organizational structure,ensure human resources,innovate operation system and improve risk prevention.The findings of the study provide a practical and effective competitive strategy for Bank C’s pension trusteeship business,guiding the bank to participate in industry competition and combining strategic management theory and specific management practice,with certain reference value and practical significance.The findings of this thesis also have implications for other domestic commercial banks with pension trusteeship qualifications,and are useful for other banks to implement competitive strategies. |
