With the global popularity of 5G,emerging technologies such as big data,artificial intelligence,Internet of Things and cloud computing are horizontally integrated and vertically interwoven.In this context,AIo T has emerged,involving a wide range of areas,rapid market expansion and more participants.The varieties involved in AIo T products are complex,and various types of companies are good at and have different development focus.The homogeneity between the same areas is strong,and the competition is fierce and stressful,and the whole industry lacks the dominant force of industry chain integration and providing vertically integrated applications.Company Z is a leading provider of AIo T products and solutions,committed to AIo T technology innovation and "AIo T+industry" applications.Based on its AIo T technology capabilities of ubiquitous data connectivity,ubiquitous data convergence and enablement,and full network intelligence,the company helps large enterprises,cities,telecommunications,energy and other industries to digitally transform and intelligently upgrade,providing competitive products and solutions to more than 70 countries and regions worldwide.However,enterprises are currently facing increasingly complex challenges and issues.The radical changes in the international environment and the intensification of the Sino-US technology friction have led to a significant increase in the cost of upstream raw materials,resulting in the risk of supply chain tension;difficulties in international staff mobility under the COVID-19 epidemic,which directly affects overseas business orders and project delivery;increasingly fierce competition among existing companies for price,quality,customers and market as major companies join;new product development and 5G application landing The speed is not as fast as expected,and the differentiation of products and solutions is not obvious;commercial terms are generally poor,such as long billing periods,small contract amounts,serious advances,relatively high delivery costs,and more customization work to be done;the lack of corporate business strategies and ambiguous competitive strategies;the combination of multiple factors has significantly reduced the profit margins of enterprises and lowered profit margins.Against this backdrop,how to make Company Z’s AIo T business break through the difficulties to maintain its sustainable growth momentum,increase its market share,and enhance its profitability has become an important life-anddeath issue that the company must face.In this paper,it conducted an in-depth multi-dimensional analysis and disassembly of the external environment,internal environment,industry environment,and market environment of Company Z’s AIo T business,identifying external opportunities and threats as well as internal strengths and weaknesses.Then the key external factors and internal were quantitatively analyzed;then followed by a portfolio analysis of opportunities,threats,strengths,and weaknesses to develop alternative strategies.Finally,the alternative strategies were strategically preferred to finalize the competitive strategy that should be adopted by Company Z’s AIo T business.To ensure the smooth implementation of this strategy,four specific implementation measures,five functional strategy implementation guarantees,and dynamic risk control measures are proposed.The effective implementation of the above measures and guarantees will certainly allow Company Z’s AIo T business to gain a competitive advantage and increase its market share and profitability in the industry. |
