Study On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The Optimization And Upgrading Of Industrial Structure In Yangtze River Economic Belt

The Second Tenth Report emphasized the need to accelerate the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,promote the green transformation of economic development and realize the construction of beautiful China;to continuously promote the development of digital economy,promote the in-depth combination and integration of digital economy and real economy,and create and form advantageous digital industries and industrial digital clusters in order to achieve high-quality and sustainable development.With the rapid development of the digital economy,it continues to output powerful power to the development of the national economy,and its importance is increasingly prominent.As the most influential new model of economic development at present,the digital economy is triggering a new round of industrial changes worldwide.2022 White Paper on the Development of China’s Digital Economy released in 2022 shows that as of 2021,the scale of China’s digital economy has reached RMB 45.5trillion,accounting for about 39.8% of GDP,an achievement that has provided a powerful driving force for China’s economic development and an The optimization and upgrading of industrial structure provides an important historical opportunity,therefore,we must accelerate the development of digital economy and realize the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure to promote economic development and social progress.However,at this stage,the focus of China’s academic community on digital economy is still on the macro level of the country,while the research perspective focusing on the Yangtze River Economic Zone is yet to be strengthened.As a key region for the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and the development of digital economy in China,the research on digital economy and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in the Yangtze River Economic Zone is of certain value and significance for both the regions within the zone and the whole country.In this context,this paper firstly composes some basic theories of digital economy and industrial structure optimization and upgrading,and on this basis analyzes the inner mechanism of digital economy affecting industrial structure optimization and upgrading from four aspects,such as digital industrialization,industrial digitization,spatial effect and regional heterogeneity;secondly,it adopts entropy method to analyze the digital economy,industrial structure advanced and industrial structure rationalization of 110prefecture-level and above cities from 2011 to 2019.industrial structure advanced and industrial structure rationalization levels were measured and analyzed in the current situation,in order to better understand the development trend of digital economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and provide reference for future development;finally,a fixed-effects model and a spatial Durbin model were established and combined with the theoretical analysis in the previous paper to empirically study the impact and spatial effect of digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.This paper mainly draws the following conclusions:firstly,the digital economy can optimize and upgrade the industrial structure by promoting the rationalization and advanced development of the industrial structure of cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and passes the robustness test,thus ensuring the accuracy of the study;secondly,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the significant effect of the digital economy on the advanced industrial structure holds in the upper,middle and lower reaches,but the significant effect of the digital economy on the However,the significant influence of digital economy on the rationalization of industrial structure only holds in the middle and downstream regions,but not in the upstream regions,probably due to the higher level of industrial development,more complete types of industries and more reasonable industrial distribution in the middle and downstream regions,etc.Third,the spatial correlation test shows that there is a significant positive correlation between digital economy and various aspects of industrial structure optimization and upgrading in space,based on which an empirical analysis is conducted through the spatial Durbin model The spatial correlation test shows that the digital economy can not only promote the optimization and upgrading of the local industrial structure,but also drive the neighboring areas to achieve the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.Finally,based on some research findings,we propose countermeasures to strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure in Yangtze River Economic Zone,attach importance to the development of digital industrialization,promote the coordinated regional development of digital economy,strengthen the integration of digital economy and traditional industries,improve the construction of laws and regulations for digital economy development,and promote the digital transformation of government.
