| Since the State Council issued the guiding opinions on promoting the development of the Yangtze River economic belt by relying on the golden waterway in 2014,the economic development and the protection of the ecological environment in the economic belt have always been the focus of the Central Committee’s attention.General secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the importance of "Pay attention to the great protection of environment and do not engage in the great development of economic" at the forum to carry out and promote the development of the Economic belt.It can be seen that the development of the Economic Belt has entered a critical period of "adjusting structure and stabilizing growth".The outline of the development plan of the Yangtze River economic belt further points out that the development of the Economic belt should be based on ecological priority and green priority,with supply side structural reform as the main line,vigorously cultivate new driving forces,implement innovation driven strategy,transform and upgrade traditional industries,and make economic transformation and development come ture.In addition to innovation,industrial integration,which is considered to be the key to opening the "new cycle" of China’s economy,is an excellent starting point to solve the development problem of the Economic belt.Therefore,strengthening the research on industrial integration of the Economic belt is of great significance to further enhance the level of industrial integration in the region,stimulate the industrial structure optimized and upgraded and make the economic transformation and development come ture.In this paper,11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River economic belt are taken as the research object.Based on the analysis of the connotation of industrial integration,the evaluation index system of regional industrial integration level is constructed from the three dimensions of integration power,trend and environment.The improved entropy method is used to measure and analyze the regional industrial integration level of the whole Economic belt and its provinces and cities along the belt in 2008-2017.On this basis,the paper analyzes the main factors that affect the industrial integration development.In addition,on the basis of combing and analyzing the relevant literature and theories of industrial integration and industrial structure upgrading,this paper constructs the internal mechanism of the impact of industrial integration on the upgrading of industrial structure,starting from the coincidence of the two factors in terms of technological progress,factor supply,market demand and domestic and foreign market environment.On this basis,taking the advanced level and rationalization level of the industrial structure of the Economic belt as the explanatory variables,the regional industrial integration level as the core explanatory variables,combined with the relevant control variables,the panel data model is constructed to analyze the impact of the industrial integration level of the Economic belt on the upgrading of the industrial structure.Finally,it puts forward to improve the regional industrial integration of the Economic belt and its provinces along the line To promote the upgrading of industrial structure in the belt.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)from 2008 to 2017,the level of regionalindustrial integration in the economic belt as a whole continued to rise,the development trend of industrial integration was good,but the overall level was still at a low level,and there was still a big gap from the ideal value of 1,which needs to be improved;the comprehensive index of three subsystems of integration power,integration trend and integration environment continued to rise,the development of all elements went hand in hand,and jointly promoted the overall improvement of regional industrial integration level,especially the performance of integration trend Outstanding.(2)From 2008 to 2017,the level of regional industrial integration of provinces and cities along the economic belt has been on the rise,and the trend of industrial integration is good,but the regional gap is large,showing a distribution pattern of downstream > midstream > upstream;in addition,the comprehensive index of each subsystem has been significantly improved,but the gap between regions is obvious and the regional industrial integration development focuses are different.The integration dynamic comprehensive index of the lower reaches is the highest,the integration environment of the middle reaches is the winner,the integration trend of the upper reaches is the most prominent.The work of win-win cooperation and coordinated advance among regions needs to be strengthened.(3)The advantages and disadvantages of the Yangtze River economic belt and the provinces and cities along the belt are different in the process of upgrading the level of regional industrial integration.As for the Economic belt as a whole,market demand and economic level are the leading factors affecting the level of industrial integration;industry competition,policy support and scientific and technological progress are the auxiliary factors affecting the level of industrial integration of the Economic belt business model,human resources and multinational companies are the coordination factors that affect the industrial integration level of the Economic belt.In terms of different regions,the industrial integration development in the lower reaches mainly benefits from the progress of science and technology and the level of economy,which is subject to market demand,business model and transnational corporations;the industrial integration development in the middle reaches mainly benefits from the level of economy,which is restricted by transnational corporations,human resources and the level of scientific and technological progress;the industrial integration development in the upper reaches mainly depends on the level of economy and business model,which is subject to the level of scientific and technological progress,human resources and multinational companies.(4)Regional industrial integration has played a significant role in promoting the rationalized and advanced level of industrial structure in the Yangtze River economic belt.Among them,the impact on the rationalized level of industrial structure is greater than that on the advanced level.In terms of different regions,industrial integration in the middle and upper reaches of the Economic belt has also played a significant role in promoting the rationalized and advanced level of regional industrial structure,while that in the lower reaches of the Economic belt has a significant inhibitory effect on the the rationalized and advanced level of regional industrial structure. |
