Research On The Influence Of Intelligence On Industrial Total Factor Productivity

Industry is the backbone of the national economy.With the development of reform and opening up,my country has established the most complete industrial system in the world.However,with the disappearance of the demographic dividend and the limitation of natural resources,the rough style driven by factor input is unsustainable.High-quality development with improved total factor productivity is imminent.With the advent of the fourth revolutionary wave,the integration of intelligent technology and industrialization has become a new engine for the improvement of industrial total factor productivity,and the transformation of industrial intelligence is imminent.Therefore,it has important theoretical value and research significance to explore the impact of industrial intelligence on industrial total factor productivity.This paper firstly sorts out the relevant literature on intelligence and total factor productivity,and then starts from the Cobb-Douglas production function,constructs a theoretical analysis of the influence of intelligence on industrial total factor productivity and its internal impact mechanism,and further considers regional differences to carry out difference analysis;Then,the industrial intelligence and industrial total factor productivity data from 30 provinces from 2005 to 2019 were used as samples to measure and analyze the development status of industrial intelligence and industrial total factor productivity;finally,panel and mediation effect models were constructed to test the impact of industrial intelligence on the effect and mechanism of industrial total factor productivity.The following conclusions are drawn from this study:First,the research results of the impact of industrial intelligence on industrial total factor productivity show that industrial intelligence can significantly promote the improvement of industrial total factor productivity,and industrial intelligence has a significant promoting effect on the technological progress of the decomposition item of industrial total factor productivity.However,the promotion effect on technical efficiency is not significant;studies considering the intermediary effect of labor structure upgrading show that industrial intelligence can indirectly improve industrial total factor productivity by promoting the upgrading of industrial labor structure.Second,further studies incorporating regional differences show that industrial intelligence has a significant promoting effect on industrial total factor productivity in the Middle East,and the promotion effect is more obvious in the central region;the research on the decomposition term of industrial total factor productivity shows that,Industrial intelligence has a significant role in promoting technological progress and technical efficiency in the eastern region,significantly promoting the technical efficiency in the central region,and has no role in promoting the technical efficiency and technological progress in the western region.Considering the intermediary role of the upgrading of labor structure,it shows that industrial intelligence promotes the improvement of total industrial productivity through the upgrading of labor structure only in the eastern region.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper proposes to give full play to the role of industrial intelligence in promoting industrial total factor productivity,strengthen technological innovation to improve technical efficiency,and achieve multi-engine growth of industrial total factor productivity;give play to the intermediary role of labor structure upgrading,increase education Investment,improve the talent introduction and cultivation policies;develop industrial intelligence according to local conditions,reduce regional differences and other suggestions,in order to provide reference and reference for the government to formulate relevant policies for industrial intelligence to promote the improvement of industrial total factor productivity,and promote high-quality industrial development.
