| In the context of food security protection,ecological construction and rural revitalization,people find out that urban agriculture plays an active role in ensuring urban food security,ecological security,and it integrated urban and rural areas,promoting rural revitalization around urban areas.The multi-functionality of urban agriculture is gradually being recognized,and its important position in urban development has become increasingly prominent.Urban agricultural activities must take “space” as its carrier.Various attributes of space have restrictive or supportive impact on urban agricultural activities.In order to promote the multi-level integration of agriculture and cities,and make better use of urban resources to achieve comprehensive benefits,the functional characteristics and development potentiality of each space in the city are identified by multi-functional evaluation,and the development direction and strategy of urban agriculture in these spaces are discussed.This paper recognizes urban space from the perspective of multi-functional urban agriculture based on production,ecology and cultural functions,and analyzes its urban agriculture development potentiality from its three attributes as production system,ecosystem and cultural carrier.On the basis of sorting out relevant literature,an analysis framework and evaluation model are established under the three categories of production,ecological and cultural functions.In terms of evaluation results,the overall spatial distribution of production functions in Wuhan shows weakness in the city center,and increases gradually as it gets near to outer suburbs,while low-value clusters in the northeast and northwest of the city.The spatial distribution of ecological functions shows significant regional differences.On the whole,it is gradually rising from the city center to the outer suburbs,while the spatial pattern is higher in the south and north and lower in the east and west.In terms of cultural functions,the advantageous spaces are clustered and disadvantaged spaces are scattered.There are multiple small-scale cores,and a strong circle distribution around each core.By K-means clustering model,the study area was divided into six types according to the similarity of its functional characteristics.Each type of space has a relatively obvious concentration distribution law,showing a circle structure.Cultural-dominated-ecologicalcompound advantageous areas are mainly distributed in the central circle of the city;threefunction comprehensive advantageous regions are adjacent to the central circle;productionecological superiority and production-dominated-cultural-compound advantageous regions form the third circles together;ecologically-dominant-cultural-composite advantageous areas are mainly located in the fourth circle,and some are interspersed in stripes around urban traffic lines;three-function comprehensive disadvantage regions is mainly distributed in bare land,swamps,its proportion is unsignificant.Guided by the functional tendencies of various spaces,the basic urban agricultural spatial layout in Wuhan is formed.Combined with specific regional conditions,the functional characteristics are analyzed,and we put up with some urban agricultural development strategies.In Cultural-dominated-ecological-composite advantage region,urban agriculture takes landscape improvement as the main development direction;threefunction comprehensive advantageous area mainly develops leisure tourism-oriented urban agriculture,and activates surrounding areas,expands outwards relying on excellent landscape resources;production-ecological advantageous regions mainly deploy ecofriendly urban agriculture,production-dominated-cultural-compound advantageous regions mainly deploy efficient productive urban agriculture;ecological-dominantcultural-compound advantageous regions take ecological protection as the main development direction,develop and utilize agricultural resources rationally,enhance comprehensive benefits;In three-function comprehensive disadvantage regions,urban agriculture takes comprehensive improvement as the main development direction,improves production conditions and ecological functions according to local conditions. |
