The 18thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that“the space for production is used intensively and efficiently,the living space is livable and proper in size,and the ecological space is unspoiled and beautiful”.Ever since,the space of“production,living and ecology”has been widely recognized by the people.As urbanization,informatization,new industrialization and agricultural modernization are advancing in a profound and synchronous manner,rural areas have stepped onto the track of rapid transformation,internal elements and external environment in rural space of“production,living and ecology”are undergoing rapid variations,and regulation-induced urban-rural exchanges of energy,material and information are presenting a higher frequency.Consequently,the functional contradiction of the space of“production,living and ecology”is witnessing sharper contradictions.Currently,traditional production functions of rural areas are gradually weakened by the non-grain trend of farmland and non-agricultural trend of population,which gives rise to rural tourism relying on the natural landscape and farming experience.The study on the coupling coordination of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”can provide theoretical basis and data support for achieving the integrated development of the rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”,as well as clarifying the functional orientation of rural development.Rural space of“production,living and ecology”is by nature a multifunctional organic system.Based on the illustration of the coupling coordination mechanism of rural space of“production,living and ecology”,this paper constructs the evaluation index system for the rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”,and conducts a comprehensive evaluation on the rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”of seven units at district and county level in Zibo from 2010 to 2020.By utilizing the coupling coordination degree model,this paper sheds light on the spatial-temporal variation characteristics of the coupling coordination degree of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”,and analyzes the pairing coordination degree wherein.Panel Tobit model is also applied to explore the influencing factors of coupling coordination of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”.The research yields the following findings.(1)As a typical clustered city,Zibo’s economic and social development has covered three main stages:independent development–joint development–radiative development,in which a loosely dotted distribution gives way to disorganized expansion,and finally to balanced development.(2)The research period has witnessed a significant rise in the coupling coordination degree of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”;nevertheless,the gap between the seven districts and counties is constantly widening,making it a necessity to strengthen the connection and balanced development between the districts and counties.In terms of space,the coupling coordination degree of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”of seven districts and counties presents such a feature as“high degree in the north and low degree in the south”on the whole.Affected by the development foundation and geographical conditions,the three southern districts and counties are burdened with low spatial functional levels of production and living,thereby limiting the rise of their coupling coordination degree.In the analysis of the pairing coordination degree in the seven districts and counties in the studied area,the largest gap is witnessed in production-living coupling coordination degree,the medium gap is witnessed in production-ecology coupling coordination degree,and the smallest gap is witnessed in production-ecology coupling coordination degree.(3)The research period has witnessed a diversified trend in influencing factors of coupling coordination of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”,which mainly manifests itself in public service factors,social and economic factors,natural environmental factors,etc.Corresponding to the aforementioned three aspects,the proportion of government financial expenditure in GDP,urbanization level and land reclamation rate are the variables exerting the greatest influence on coupling coordination degree of rural spatial function of“production,living and ecology”,and the pairing coordination degree in the studied area.(4)With respect to the development of Zibo entire rural area,this paper proposes to construct the spatial pattern of“three axes and two zones”.With respect to Zibo suburban rural area,this paper proposes to construct the clustered urban spatial structure of“one main and two subsidiaries”,which cooperating with the urban area. |
