Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The High-quality Development Of Manufacturing Industry

The world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century,and the international social and political landscape is in turmoil.In the high-end market of value chain,China’s manufacturing industry is facing pressure from the European and American camps led by the United States,and in the low-end market of value chain,it is facing competition from Vietnam,Myanmar,Cambodia and other Southeast Asian countries,so it is in a double squeeze situation.China’s manufacturing industry is faced with the status quo of large but not strong,overcapacity and weak growth.Digital economy is a new economic development form of rapid development in the information age,which plays an important role in the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and the reconstruction of industrial structure.Digital economy in our country in recent years achieved rapid development,become one of China’s current economic growth momentum,measure the current digital economy level of development,to explore the digital economy impact on manufacturing high quality development,to realize the current status of the development of the digital economy,digital economy impact on manufacturing high quality development mechanism is of great significance.First of all,based on the measurement theory of digital economy by domestic and foreign scholars,combined with the current development trend and characteristics of digital economy,this thesis establishes the digital economy indicator system of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2019 from the four aspects of digital infrastructure,digital industrialization,industrial digitalization and digital economy development environment.Thirty provinces of China are divided into three regions,namely east,middle and west,to analyze the regional differences of digital economy development level,and to determine the weight of each index by entropy weight method.Secondly,the directional distance function and Malmquist-Luenberger(ML)index were used to measure the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry in each province,and the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry was used as a measure of the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.Finally,the entropy weight method of digital economy level of development as the core variable,ML index measured is manufacturing high quality development level as explained variable,the intermediary effect model,from the innovation driven effect,labor productivity effect and consumption effect empirical analysis in three aspects: the digital economy impact on manufacturing high quality development.The results show that the development level of digital economy in the eastern region is the first in China,followed by the central region,and finally the western region.Guangdong has the highest average development level of digital economy in China in recent years,and Guizhou has the fastest average growth rate of digital economy in recent years.China’s industrial digitalization is still relatively weak,China still needs to strengthen the integration of digital technology and traditional industry,expand the scope of the integration of digital technology and traditional industry;The high quality development level of manufacturing industry in China is highest in the east,followed by the middle,and finally in the west,and the high quality development level in the west shows a downward trend,indicating that we should pay attention to the improvement of the high quality development level in the west.From 2015 to 2016,the high-quality development level of manufacturing industry in all parts of The country showed a huge increase,which is related to the national promotion of new development concepts and the promotion of the construction of a modern economic system.Local governments have actively implemented policies and achieved great results.In the whole country,digital economy has two mediating effects on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry: innovationdriven effect and labor productivity effect.In the eastern region,the digital economy of manufacturing high quality development is only labor productivity effect,in the central region,the digital economy in manufacturing high quality development innovation driven effect,labor productivity effect,in the western region,the digital economy in manufacturing high quality development innovation driven effect,labor productivity effect,consumer demand effect.
