Research On The Internal Mechanism And Realization Path Of High-quality Development Of Manufacturing Enterprises Empowered By Digital Economy

Since the reform and opening up,China’s manufacturing industry has developed rapidly and become an engine of rapid economic growth,but the phenomenon of “big but weak” and “low-end lock-in” is still very serious.Therefore,it is increasingly urgent to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises.In the context of the accelerated development of digital economy,how to realize the integration of digital industry and manufacturing industry is of great concern.Based on the existing relevant research,this paper combines the theoretical and empirical approaches to explore the internal mechanism and realization path of high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises empowered by digital economy,taking into account its practical dilemma.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in two aspects: one is the innovation of research perspective.This paper focuses on the manufacturing enterprises from a micro perspective by mining its actual operation data.The other is the innovation of research content.Starting from the basic principles of Marxism,this paper combines the digital economy with the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises,and quantitatively analyzes the empowerment effect.The theoretical analysis is based on Marxist productivity theory,labor theory of value,capital circulation and turnover theory,and Max’s thoughts on industrial upgrading,elaborating the internal mechanism of high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises empowered by digital economy from the perspectives of technological innovation,capital circulation and industrial upgrading.Specifically,digital economy stimulates technological innovation of manufacturing enterprises by improving laborers’ skills,upgrading the functions of labor materials,and expanding the boundaries of labor objects,thus injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises;digital economy accelerates the capital circulation of manufacturing enterprises by speeding up the function realization of money capital,productive capital and commodity capital,thus improving the production efficiency of manufacturing enterprises;digital economy realizes the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry by accelerate the transformation of traditional manufacturing to advanced manufacturing,generating new industries and new modes,and expanding the boundaries of manufacturing industry chain division of labor,thus improves the development quality of manufacturing enterprises.The empirical analysis is based on the relevant data of 27 provinces or cities and1,218 listed manufacturing companies from 2011-2019,constructing the evaluation index systems to measure the development levels of digital economy and manufacturing enterprises,using the two-factor fixed effects model and panel threshold model to analyze the empowerment effect,and using mediating effects test to verify the internal mechanism.The empirical results show that digital economy can significantly improve the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises,and the empowerment effect present a significant single-threshold feature,indicating that the empowerment effect has a non-linear effect of marginal increase with the development of digital economy;digital economy empowers the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises through three paths: technological innovation,capital circulation and industrial upgrading;the empowerment effect has human capital heterogeneity,industry heterogeneity and R&D intensity heterogeneity.Based on the above theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,and combined with the practical dilemma,this paper finally puts forward the realization path for the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises empowered by digital economy: first,strengthen the support capacity of manufacturing digital infrastructure;second,give full play to the driving function of data elements;third,strengthen the cultivation system of manufacturing digital talents;fourth,find the direction of transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises.
