Research On The Influence Of Micro-innovation On The Performance Of Hidden Champion Enterprises

Hidden champion refers to a long-term focus on a certain market segment,production technology or process industry leading,product share and profit margin in the forefront of the industry and little-known enterprises.Under the background of increasingly fierce global competition,cultivating more hidden champion enterprises in the industrial chain is an important starting point to effectively resolve the core technology difficulties and realize high-quality development.However,due to the disadvantages of Chinese enterprises in the core technology,capital and talent,enterprises still have some obstacles in the process of developing to the hidden champion enterprises.As an innovation strategy of achieving continuous improvement through trial and error iteration,micro-innovation can effectively help enterprises to achieve the continuous improvement of core technologies in a low-cost way.The existing research focuses on analyzing the impact of R & D investment and entrepreneurship orientation on the performance of hidden champion enterprises,and the relationship between micro-innovation and the discussion of hidden champion enterprise performance is still insufficient.Therefore,exploring the influence mechanism of micro-innovation on the performance of hidden champion enterprises has certain theoretical value and practical significance for cultivating more hidden champion enterprises.This paper first systematically combs the hidden champion,micro-innovation,dual growth and environmental dynamics related literature,analyzes the possible relationships and mechanisms between various variables,constructs a theoretical model of the relationship between micro-innovation,dual growth and the performance of the hidden champion enterprise in the context of dynamic environment,,and further put forward the corresponding research hypothesis.In order to verify the rationality of this research model,this paper investigates the hidden champion enterprises through online and offline methods,and obtained 156 valid questionnaires.On this basis,this paper processes the questionnaire data with SPSS and AMOS software,successively through reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,multiple level regression analysis,so as to further verify the research model and related assumptions.The following conclusions include: micro-innovation has a significant positive impact on the performance of the hidden champion;product growth has a significant positive impact on the performance of the hidden champion;efficiency growth has a significant positive impact on the performance of the hidden champion;product growth plays some mediating role in the relationship between micro-innovation and the performance of hidden champion;efficiency growth plays some mediating role in the relationship between micro-innovation and the performance of hidden champion;environmental dynamics negatively moderates the relationship between micro-innovation and product growth;environmental dynamics negatively moderates the relationship between micro-innovation and efficiency growth.The theoretical contributions of this paper include: Firstly,the mechanism of microinnovation on the performance of hidden champion enterprise.From the perspective of micro-innovation,this paper discusses the mechanism of micro-innovation on the hidden champion enterprise performance,expands the analytical perspective of hidden champion enterprise growth,and provides theoretical guidance for the cultivation of hidden champion enterprise in China;Secondly,this paper discusses the role of dual growth in the relationship between "micro-innovation-hidden champion enterprise performance".Product growth and efficiency growth are two important paths for hidden champion enterprises to achieve continuous growth,and are important choice to help hidden champion enterprises obtain sustainable competitive advantage;Thirdly,this paper analyzes the challenges of hidden champion enterprise growth in the dynamic environment.In a highly dynamic environment,the growth of hidden champion enterprises will face greater challenges,and this conclusion provides a new theoretical interpretation of the research of the growth behavior of hidden champion enterprises in different situations.
