Study On Development Countermeasure Of Passion Fruit Industry In Nanning City

Since 2014,it has been annually indicated in the No.1 Central Document that priority should be given to the development of agriculture and rural areas in order to promote the rapid growth of agricultural industry and rural economy.Thereinto,rural industry revitalization is the most core target and it aims to drive the overall revitalization through rural industry revitalization.In recent year,Nanning Municipal Party Committee and Government have been actively carrying out the relevant work arrangements of the Central Committee,keeping pace with the times,comprehensively promoting the implementation of rural revitalization strategy,fully exploring and giving play to rural resource superiority,stepping up efforts to provide policy support,vigorously developing the advantageous characteristic agricultural industry and driving the booming of passion fruit industry.At present,Guangxi is the largest main producing areas for producing passion fruit nationwide,where Nanning city is one of the main producing areas.As of 2020,the planting area of passion fruit in Nanning city had reached47,260 mu,involving about 4,155 planters,with an annual output of 59,268 ton,an annual output value of 533.20 million yuan,and 6 production bases covering an area over 500 mu,respectively.A total of 5,120 poor households were supported by this industry and the annual income of each household was increased by 3,528 yuan on average.Therefore,passion fruit industry has become one of the pillar industries to help people shake off poverty and become prosperous in Nanning city,which has boosted a large number of peasants to achieve income increase and prosperity.However,with the rapid development of the passion fruit industry in Nanning city,a series of difficulties and problems has been encountered and it is urgent to adopt proper measures to solve them so as to promote its high-quality development in a healthy and sustainable way.In this thesis,the passion fruit industry in Nanning city is selected as the study object,and the agricultural industrialization,industrial development and industrial organization theory are taken as the basis to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the industrial development history,regional distribution,planting scale,breed structure,source and cultivation of seedlings,occurrence and control of plant diseases and insect pests,construction of business entities and service organizations as well as the processing and sales markets through referring to relevant literature by means of research methods like literature research,field investigation and comprehensive analysis,indicating the main problems existing in Nanning passion fruit industry: small industrial scale,non-significant benefit,high industrial development risk,unstable market price,insufficient industrial development technologies,weak market competitiveness,low degree of industrial organization,and inadequate industrial support.In order to drive the sustainable and healthy development of the passion fruit industry in Nanning city,the following countermeasures are put forward aiming at the above-mentioned problems: First,strengthen the industrial scale development,and enhance the scale merit;Second,boost the anti-risk capability of the industry;Third,intensify the technological support for industrial development;Fourth,improve the industrial market competitiveness;Fifth,enhance the industrial organization level;Sixth,step up the efforts to provide industrial support.This is of practical guiding significance to promoting the high-quality development of passion fruit industry in Nanning city in a healthy and sustainable way and provides some experience reference and guidance for the development of similar industries in other regions,which,meanwhile,plays an important role in contributing to the implementation of rural revitalization strategy in the surrounding areas of Nanning city and even Guangxi as a whole.
