How To Improve The Export Domestic Value-added Rate Of Enterprises In The Construction Of Smart City

For more than 40 years of reform and opening up,my country has vigorously developed an export-oriented international economic cycle strategy,which has played a major role in promoting economic growth,structural optimization,and technological progress.However,now,China’s development has entered a new era,and the development model dominated by the international cycle is unsustainable.Vigorously promoting the domestic cycle and forming new kinetic energy is the key.Under the international situation of global informatization and the domestic pressure of building a new development pattern of "dual circulation",the Chinese government reviewed the situation and issued relevant policies for smart city construction,and promoted the higher quality development of country’s economy and society.At the same time,as the value created by the pure domestic market production factors,the subdivided domestic value-added rate of exports can fully reflect the value creation of enterprises participating in the domestic cycle.Based on this background,an in-depth study of whether the construction of smart cities in my country can improve the domestic valueadded rate(DVAR)of Chinese enterprises’ exports has important enlightenment significance for improving the status of Chinese enterprises in the global value chain and improving the domestic and international dual circulation pattern.This paper sorts out much research literature on DVAR and smart cities.Secondly,the impact mechanism of smart city pilot policies on DVAR is discussed from the following two ways : "marginal cost effect" and "technological innovation effect".In addition,this paper adopts the method of PSM-DID to empirically analyze the relationship between smart city construction and DVAR.The empirical analysis results show that:(1)the construction of smart cities significantly increases the DVAR;(2)the test of the intermediary effect finds that the construction of smart cities increases the DVAR through the "marginal cost effect" and "technological innovation effect".(3)Based on the analysis of enterprise heterogeneity,it is found that the construction of smart cities has a significant role in promoting the DVAR by non-state-owned enterprises,enterprises in the eastern and central regions,and general trade and mixed trade enterprises.Finally,according to the result of this study,there are three policy suggestions:First,continue to promote the implementation of the smart city pilot policy nationwide in an orderly manner;Investment in facilities;3.Strengthen the promotion of enterprise innovation and research and development.
