The cultivation of agricultural products and the development of agriculture in China are mainly based on the small-scale operation of rural families. Therefore, the development of rural areas and farmers is very important to the development of agriculture.Accelerating agricultural development is very important. From the personal level,it is related to farmers’ personal life and consumption level. From the national level,it is related to national economic development and social people’s livelihood. The most important and direct influencing factor of relating to farmers’ personal life is the level of farmers’ income. If farmers have high income, they can naturally improve their living consumption level and the quality of life. Therefore, how to improve agricultural development and farmers’ income is also the focus of the country. At present, the development of information technology is gradually applied to the field of agriculture. It plays an important role in the construction of new countryside, the cultivation of new farmers, the planting and circulation of characteristic agricultural products and the development of characteristic agriculture. At present, our country propose the Rural Revitalization strategy in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party,so it is very significant to study the impact of agricultural informatization on farmers’ income.Firstly, this paper discusses the content of agricultural informatization and the connotation of farmers’ income, analyzes the current situation of informatization construction level and farmers’ income, and analyzes the impact of informatization construction on Farmers’ agricultural production from the aspects of changing production mode, reducing production cost and improving agricultural production efficiency. Then eight data indicators are selected from the three aspects of infrastructure, development environment and service system informatization to establish the agricultural informatization index system.According to the availability of data, the panel data of 18 provinces from 2011 to 2020 are selected as the research samples.Use the collected index data to calculate the agricultural informatization level of each province from 2011 to 2020,in which the entropy method is used to calculate the agricultural informatization level, then use the calculated index level and the collected farmers’ income as panel data for empirical analysis, and use the panel regression model method to empirically study the impact of farmers’ Informatization on Farmers’ income,The grey correlation analysis method is used to calculate the correlation degree between each index in the index system and farmers’ income. The software used in the empirical analysis is stata15.Through analysis and empirical research, the following conclusions are obtained:first, the overall level of information construction in rural areas has been continuously improved, and the overall level of information construction in rural areas has also been greatly improved.Through the empirical analysis,we can also see that the overall level of information construction in rural areas has been continuously improved. From the situation of each province, informatization also shows regional differences. The information infrastructure construction and informatization environment in the eastern region are better than those in the central and western regions. In addition,we can see that farmers’ income is growing, but the growth intensity has shown a slight downward trend in recent years.Among them, the proportion of operating income in farmers’ income is declining, and the proportion of wage income is increasing year by year.Second, from the calculation results of agricultural informatization index,it can be seen that from the overall trend, the agricultural informatization level of most provinces is rising. For example,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Henan,Hubei and other places show a significant upward trend of agricultural informatization level, which shows that the informatization construction of these provinces is constantly improving and strengthening. Some provinces have a downward trend in individual years, such as Beijing,Liaoning,Jiangxi,Chongqing and other places. This may be due to the fluctuation of individual indicators from 2011 to 2020,rather than an increasing trend,so they have a downward trend in individual years.Third, from the results of empirical analysis, agricultural informatization has a significant positive effect on Farmers’ income. The regression coefficient is 0.0308,and its influence coefficient is significantly positive, indicating that agricultural informatization helps to drive the growth of farmers’ income. From the analysis of regional differences, the influence of the central region is slightly greater than that of the western and eastern regions. This may be because the central region is gradually increasing the construction of informatization and the application of agriculture,so the influence coefficient is slightly larger.Fourth, from the results of grey correlation analysis, among the secondary indicators, the level of information application technology is more closely related to farmers’ income, followed by the level of information infrastructure.Among the tertiary indicators, the communication expenditure is more closely related to farmers’ income, followed by the number of color TVs,the length of long-distance cables, the number of mobile phones, etc.,which shows that informatization, network communication and the Internet have a great relationship with farmers’ income. Finally, according to the research contents and conclusions of this paper, some suggestions are given to improve the rural information infrastructure, promote the wide application of rural information technology and give full play to the leading role of the government.
