Research On The Characteristics And Driving Mechanism Of The Transformation And Development Of Characteristic Agricultural Rural Areas

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy and the mother of all industries.General Secretary Xi Jinping once stressed that "we must base ourselves on the advantages of local resources and support and encourage the peasant masses to develop characteristic agriculture." As an important part of agriculture,characteristic agriculture is a key platform and the primary way to promote the strategic adjustment of agricultural structure,and has a positive demonstration effect on rural revitalization and rural economic development.Analyzing the characteristics of the transformation and development of characteristic agricultural villages and exploring the driving mechanism behind them are of great practical significance for achieving sustainable rural development and promoting rural transformation and revitalization.Under the guidance of rural regional system and farmer behavior theory,the theoretical framework of the transformation and development of characteristic agricultural rural areas is constructed through field research,the characteristics of the transformation and development of Shiqiao Town are analyzed,and the driving mechanism is explored.Firstly,the interview records are used to clarify the development process of Shiqiao Town with the development of characteristic agriculture as the main line;secondly,the research data analysis is used to analyze the process and characteristics of population,land and industry transformation driven by Shiqiao Town’s characteristic agriculture;and finally,the driving mechanism of the transformation and development of Shiqiao Town and the leading force of different development stages are explored from the internal and external forces.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Shiqiao Town has experienced four stages of slow development,rapid growth,rapid growth and fluctuating development.At different stages of development,the demographic structure,the livelihood strategy of farmers and the economic structure of households all show different combinations.The number of registered residents in Shiqiao Town showed a fluctuating upward trend,the permanent population has decreased year after year since 2018,and the number of migrant workers has been increasing;the livelihood and income structure of farmers have shown a combination of "farming as the mainstay-Farming-based farming + migrant workers as a supplement-farming as the mainstay + migrant workers as a supplement + farm management-migrant workers as the mainstay + farming as a supplement ";household expenditure has changed from production and living expenditure to characteristic agricultural investment and production and living expenditure.(2)The land use of Shiqiao Town tends to be complicated in terms of spatial structure and scale structure.On the whole,orchard land shows a trend of continuous diffusion from the town center to the periphery,the scale of pear tree planting villages and villages continues to expand,pear tree planting replaces traditional agricultural planting;the cultivated land area has decreased sharply,mainly distributed in the north and southwest of the township;The area of woodland is decreasing,and the layout is on the edge of the ash pole planting village in the northern part of the township;the fluctuation of industrial land has increased,and It is dotted in the northern part of the township in the ash pole professional village,as well as Sun Qian Village and Shiqiao Ji Village;the area of infrastructure,public management and public service land has continued to increase;and the land use diversification index has shown a fluctuating downward trend The land function shows a continuous decrease in the traditional agricultural production function land,the fluctuation of the production and living function land decreases,the production ecological function land continues to increase,and the production,living and ecological land are continuously coupled and transformed.(3)The industrial development of Shiqiao Town has experienced three periods of "traditional agriculture-characteristic agriculture + industry + tourism-industry + characteristic agriculture",and the industrial structure has also developed from a single model to a diversified development,showing a "one-two" model to "one-two-three" until the current "two-one-three" model.(4)The transformation and development of Shiqiao Town is the result of the joint action of internal and external factors,resource endowment is the basic supporting force,location conditions are an important prerequisite,the rational behavior of farmers is the endogenous core driving force,government policy is the direction of regulation and control,and the market environment is the exogenous core driving force.They interact and interconnect each other to jointly promote the transformation and development of Stonebridge Town.Different driving forces play different roles at different stages: in the embryonic stage,resource endowments and location conditions are the leading force;in the initial stage of development,the policy environment and the rational behavior of farmers are the leading force;in the rapid growth stage,the rational behavior,market environment and policy regulation of farmers are the leading force;in the stage of fluctuating development,the market environment,resource endowments and rational behavior of farmers are the leading forces.
