The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stated that "employment is the greatest livelihood of the people",and we must adhere to the active employment policy,improve the quality of employment,and achieve full employment.At present,informal employment is an indispensable part of my Chinese employment market,but it is mainly in the secondary labor market,and compared to formal employment,the stability of work,income level and social security are all at a great disadvantage.All factors greatly affect the employment satisfaction of informal employment.Employment satisfaction is one of the important indicators to evaluate the employment quality of labor force.Based on CLDS 2016 data,this paper uses Lee’s generalized two-stage method,multi-layer model cross-layer interaction and other methods to discuss the differences in job satisfaction among regular and informal workers,and analyzes the causes of the differences from both micro and macro perspectives.The main conclusions are as follows: First,informal employment will significantly reduce the job satisfaction of workers.After the model bias is corrected,the difference between informal employment and formal employment in the only advantage of freedom of life is also narrowed.Second,uncertainty and job flexibility play a mediating role between employment type and job satisfaction.Uncertain income and unemployment risk mediate the relationship between employment type and job satisfaction and fatigue,and have a masking effect on employment type and degree of freedom of life.Type and job satisfaction and fatigue are masking effects.Uncertain income narrows the difference in job satisfaction on the basis of reducing the job satisfaction of formal and informal workers;job flexibility can increase the work stress and fatigue of informal workers,and reduce the work stress and fatigue of formal workers sense,widening the gap between the two.Third,the increase in GDP growth will increase the fatigue of workers,but the impact on informal workers is greater than that of formal workers.However,under the background of economic development and industrial structure transformation and upgrading,the unemployment risk and job flexibility of workers will decrease,and the uncertain income will increase,which will improve the job satisfaction of workers and reduce the fatigue of workers.The reduction in job flexibility will reduce the fatigue gap among formal and informal workers.Fourth,economic development and adjustment of industrial structure will increase the possibility of formal employment of workers.Based on this,the main suggestions put forward by this paper are as follows: informal employment groups are in a weak position in the labor market,so the human capital of informal employees can be improved to increase their participation in sharing the dividends of economic development.The adjustment and upgrading of the industrial structure will adjust the gap between the two to a certain extent.Therefore,it is necessary to promote steady economic growth and increase the stable income of the people,but we cannot blindly pursue the speed of development.
