Employment quality is becoming more and more important in researches related to employment.And researches on employment quality of informal employment groups are quite important to improve employment environment.Among this informal employment group,we should be more attention to study employment quality of female employees as vulnerable groups.At present,many scholars started to attach much more attention to employment quality,but most of their research are mainly focused on measurement index system,employment quality of some certain groups,or gender differences in employment quality.There are less researches on gender differences in employment quality of informal employment groups,and most of studies were at theoretical level and lack in empirical analysis.Based on micro perspective of employment quality of informal employment groups,this thesis studied factors that affected employment quality and divided these factors into two aspects:working treatments and working conditions.It proposed two kinds of hypotheses:in informal employment,male have higher salary than female,but work conditions of female is better than male.Combined with employment quality of informal employment groups from cities and towns in China,Questionnaires was designed according to measurement index of existing domestic and foreign employment quality.In this thesis,we mainly adopted mixed methods of questionnaire surveys and case interviews,and took informal employee from cities and towns in Tianjin as research object,and got indexes by principal component analysis on aspects of wages,social securities,career developments,working conditions,working stabilities and working satisfactions.We also utilized SPSS software to deal with relevant data to study on influences of gender differences in each index and test hypotheses,and deepened these studies with case interviews.Studies showed that,on the whole,male's employment quality is slightly higher than that of female.In terms of working treatments,male's scores are higher that of female;In terms of work conditions,female's scores are higher that of male.This conclusion provided an important reference to studies on gender differences in employment quality of informal employment groups from cities and towns in China.First of all,for our country,it is necessary to regulate informal employment market and establish concept of equal values.Secondly,for enterprises,it should strengthen their industry self-discipline to create trainings opportunities for employees.Thirdly,for individual employees,they should increase human capital investment to increase more working opportunities for themselves.
