The informal employment is a kind of employment differs from the formal one. It is much flexible and is a supplementary for the formal employment, it helps much in lower down the city unemployment ratio and lessen poverty. The essay discusses the concept and theoretical origin of the informal employment, and then makes an analysis of the whole employment scale, connections between the formal employment and the informal one, and-forecasts the scale of the informal employment.
