Digital economy,a new economic system rooted in new generation of information technology extension,is rapidly developing and reshaping the global competition pattern, even in the new development pattern of the world with increasing instability, the development momentum of digital economy still remains strong.High-tech industry, with its high added value and high technology content, has become the commanding height for countries to seize the competition of "key minority" manufacturing industry. But under the new international division of labor system, the total amount of accounting were caused by repeated calculation "statistical illusion",easy to overestimate how a country’s high technology industry actual value creation, leading to high technology industry into the "high technology",based on this, the thesis is in reference on the basis of predecessors’ research results, from the perspective of added-value trade, the thesis will study the substantial competitiveness of high-tech industries in the international market, and explore the relationship between the digital economy and the export competitiveness of high-tech industries,so as to seek empirical evidence in the global market.Firstly, based on porter diamond theory model and creative destruction theory, the direct influence path of digital economy on high-tech industry export competitiveness and the indirect influence mechanism of innovation capability and human capital are analyzed.Secondly,in order to further differentiate the correlation of digital economy and high technology industry export competitiveness, ready to network index and revealed comparative advantage index as the foundation, the added value of trade with Japan,Britain,France, and China,India,Russia and Brazil as the typical representative, analysis of the nine countries digital economy development level and the high technology industry export competitiveness present situation;Thirdly,by selecting the network readiness index and value-added trade data of 62 countries from 2006 to 2015,the fixed effect model is established to analyze the influence of digital economy on the export competitiveness of high-tech industry as a whole and subsectors. From the times,in this thesis, through building a mediation effect model, examine the innovation ability and the human capital play a role of intermediary, and the digital economy development level of different countries into three group of leader, acceleration and followers for grouping the return,at the same time using the quantile regression method, further study of the digital economy development level affect the heterogeneity of the high-tech industry export competitiveness,Finally, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward according to the research conclusions. The results show that:(1)the development of digital economy has a significant impact on enhancing the export competitiveness of high-tech industries.(2)The development of digital economy has a significant positive impact on enhancing the export competitive advantages of various segments of high-tech industry, but the impact is different among the segments.Among them, the promotion effect on computer, electronic and optical products and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is significant, while the impact on aerospace manufacturing industry is weak.(3)Digital economy can indirectly enhance the competitive advantage of high-tech industries in the international market by enhancing innovation capacity and human capital level.(4)Different levels of development of digital economy have different effects on the export competitiveness of high-tech industries. The higher the level of development of digital economy is,the less significant the impact on the export competitiveness of high-tech industries is.(5)Digital economy plays a greater role in promoting high-level export competitiveness than low-level export competitiveness. |
