Coupling Relation Between Urban Innovation Efficiency And High-quality Economic Development In Yangtze River Delta

China’s economic development has entered a new normal.While increasing the number of innovation factor input,all provinces and cities are also paying increasing attention to the output efficiency of innovation input.Innovation is the primary driving force to promote the transformation of China’s economy to high-quality development.Improving the city’s innovation ability is conducive to creating opportunities and driving force for regional economic development and promoting the quality of urban economic development.Therefore,whether the improvement of urban innovation efficiency and the high-quality economic development process go together under the new development concept is a question worthy of in-depth study.Through data envelope model,entropy method and coupled coordination model,taking 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta as an example and 2010-2020 as the investigation range,this paper conducts spatial-temporal analysis of urban innovation efficiency and high-quality economic development in the Yangtze River Delta,and puts forward policy suggestions for realizing the high-quality development of urban economy in the Yangtze River Delta.The main research contents are as follows:(1)theoretical analysis,combined with the theory of innovation efficiency and collaborative development,analyzing the interactive mechanism of innovation efficiency and high-quality economic development.(2)Measure analysis,select the Yangtze river delta 41 cities in2010-2020 related statistical data as a sample,starting from the new development concept,using data envelope model and entropy method of urban innovation efficiency and high quality economic development index measure analysis,and analysis from time and space in Yangtze river delta city innovation efficiency and high quality economic development level.(3)Coupling and coordination analysis,firstly,the relationship between urban innovation efficiency and high-quality economic development is analyzed through the panel vector autoregressive model,secondly,the coupling and coordination degree of urban innovation efficiency and high-quality economy in the Yangtze River Delta are calculated,and the coordination and stability between the two are analyzed.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)from 2010-2020,the high-quality development level of urban economy and urban innovation efficiency have increased to varying degrees,but the gap within the region is still large.The development gap between megacities and small cities shows a widening trend,and the innovation efficiency and economic development quality of resource-based cities need to be further improved.The three provinces and one city show a pattern of "Shanghai>Zhejiang Province> Jiangsu Province> Anhui Province".(2)The internal system of high-quality economic development is unbalanced,and innovative development has a high contribution to high-quality economic development,and a low contribution to shared development and green development.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize shared development and green development to promote the quality of economic development.(3)Innovation efficiency plays a promoting role in high-quality economic development,and the coupling degree and coordination degree of urban innovation efficiency and high-quality economic development in the Yangtze River Delta are constantly improved.The coordinated development degree of innovation efficiency and high-quality economic development in coastal cities is greater than that of inland cities,and the coordinated development degree of Anhui province is relatively low.Therefore,it is necessary to further improve the urban innovation efficiency and promote high-quality economic development.
