An Study On The Impact Of Digital Transformation On The Business Performance Of Regional Small And Medium Commercial Banks

In recent years,the overall development of commercial banks has been stable and improving.However,compared with large banks,regional small and medium-sized commercial banks are facing increasing competition pressure.Under the multiple influences of internal and external factors,regional small and medium-sized commercial banks have encountered unprecedented development bottlenecks.In order to achieve breakthroughs in business development,digital transformation should be the development direction of regional small and medium commercial banks.This research analyzes the impact of digital technology and digital technology on commercial banking business,comparatively analyzes the operation status of regional small and medium commercial banks,and establishes panel data of 19 commercial banks of different sizes from 2014 to 2020 to study digitalization The impact of transformation on the performance of regional small and medium-sized businesses.Through the multiple linear regression of the full sample of commercial banks and the sample of regional small and medium commercial banks,it is confirmed that digital transformation has a significant positive impact on the operating performance of regional small and medium commercial banks.Based on these conclusions,the study believes that regional small and medium commercial banks should:increase the scale of scientific and technological investment to drive business development with scientific and technological capabilities;form a data management system to give full play to the value of data;differentiate business development and enhance financial service capabilities;optimize organizational structure system,Increase the introduction and training of scientific and technological talents;with the help of external forces,form a digital win-win ecosystem.
