Measurement And Influencing Factors Of Manufacturing Industry In Henan Province

High-quality developing is the only way to consolidate the achievements of construction,and we should promote high-quality development from all aspects.In the current "manufacturing power" and "manufacturing province" background,realize the manufacturing quality development is to promote the development of high quality,scientific measurement evaluation of Henan manufacturing quality development level and study related factors for economic development,industrial optimization,resource allocation,employment and people’s livelihood is of strategic significance.The paper focuses on the evaluation and influencing factors of the high quality development level of manufacturing industry in Henan Province.On the basis of relevant theoretical analysis,the main research contents and conclusions are as follows:Firstly,defining the connotation of high-quality development and constructing the comprehensive index system of high-quality development level of Henan Province,including five dimensions of input factors,output factors,economic benefits,technological innovation and green development.Then we select the data of Henan province in 2004,2008,2013 and 2018,involved in manufacturing industry segment in the four economic censuses,using PCA to measure and evaluate the main issue,the results show that the high quality of development level in Henan province overall is considerable and gradually improved,but its internal differences between industry is still obvious:(1)statically,the non-metallic mineral products industry,electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry develop better,while the water production and supply industry,metal products,machinery and equipment repair industry have lower quality development level.(2)dynamically,the high quality development of textile,clothing,gas production and supply industry is obvious,but the level of electric power,heat production and supply industry,tobacco products industry,oil,coal and other fuel processing industry is insufficient.(3)the five leading industries have developed well,the energy-consuming industries have developed significantly,while the high-tech industries still need to be further optimized.In order to make a more comprehensive evaluation and analysis,the paper selects the relevant manufacturing data of 18 cities in Henan from 2009 to 2018 to measure the score of high-quality development.The conclusions show that: the high-quality development between cities is in a state of polarization,and Luoyang,Anyang,Kaifeng have a better level of high-quality development of manufacturing industry.The level of Jiyuan,Zhumadian,Shangqiur is lagging behind;the high quality development ranking of Zhengzhou is not very stable,and it still needs to optimize.Based on the available data,we make descriptive analysis and regression which were further conducted on the influencing factors at the industry and cities respectively.According to the development direction of stronger,better and larger manufacturing industry,the results shows that factors that affect the five leading industries mainly are factor structure,industrial scale and technological innovation.Factors that affect high-energy consumption industries are factor structure and market competitiveness.Factors that affect high-tech industries mainly are education level,factor structure,government support,marketization level and transportation facilities.The level of productive services,industrial agglomeration and opening also have a certain impact on the industrial development.And then,according to the city development score results,we select the data by using the panel model,the analysis of the influencing factors show us that education level,factor endowment structure,government support,marketization level and producer services development level all have positive driving effect on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,while the openness level and transportation infrastructure construction have no significant effect.Based on the above research,we should further consolidate the achievements of high-quality development of manufacturing industry,narrow the internal gap between manufacturing industry and prefecture-level manufacturing industry,optimize the relevant driving factors,and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions:deepening the high-quality development trend,improve the development momentum of the industry;strengthening the link between cities and prefectures and promote the deepening of regional coordination;optimizing the positive driving factors to enable the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
