Equipment manufacturing industry reflects a national or regional comprehensivestrength and basic reaction of the overall competitiveness, being at the forefront of ournational economy. Henan Province located in the Central Plains, in the wholeindustrial system the equipment manufacturing industry of which occupies a verylarge proportion, especially the traditional equipment manufacturing industry. In thepast, Henan Province was the lack of sufficient attention priority to developingequipment manufacturing industry, and being affacted by the planned economicsystem and the adaptive strategy’s adjustment, resulting in backward technology ofthe equipment manufacturing industry, especially some traditional equipmentmanufacturing industry showed a clear lag and lack of competitiveness, therefore, it isurgent to use high-tech industrial for transforming the traditional system and industrialstructure of traditional equipment manufacturing industry. Based on the abovebackground, the paper has a certain practical significance and guidance significancefor evaluating high-tech industry influence on traditional equipment manufacturingindustry of Henan Province.Firstly, the paper defines meaning and characteristics of the high-techindustry and traditional equipment manufacturing industry by reading a large numberof basical knowledge of industrial economics, high-tech industry economics andindustry influence theory; Secondly, According to the relationship analysis andprevious research results between high-tech industry and traditional equipmentmanufacturing industry, the paper build evaluation system of high-tech industryrefluence on traditional equipment manufacturing industry, and introducingevaluation model, and pointing out that high-tech industry takes impact on traditionalequipment manufacturing industry from three aspects and four major ways. Finally,according to the evaluation system and evaluation model, taking Henan for example,the paper analy the level of impact in the use of principal component analysis andfuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, analying development level and trends forhigh-tech Industry regarding traditional equipment manufacturing industry, proposingcorresponding countermeasures and suggestions by results. Through analying relationship between high-tech industry and traditionalequipment manufacturing industry, high-tech industry takes impact on traditionalequipment manufacturing industry from penetration level of high-tech industry,traditional equipment manufacturing industry high technology transforming’s inputlevel and absorption level, impact effect of high-tech industry regarding traditionalequipment manufacturing industry, through economic incresing, employmentstructure, industrial structure upgrading and technological progress and innovation ofhigh-tech industry regarding traditional equipment manufacturing industry. Accordingto the horizontal and vertical contrasting analysis, impact level of Henan Province isin the below middle level, and which be rusulted by the scale level of high-techindustry, research and develepmeng level of traditional equipment manufacturingindustry, government policies, however from2000to2009it has been an upwardtrend, and has a larger development space. Therefore, Henan province takeappropriate measures and countermeasures to improve impact level according to theactual situation, improving the technical conditions of traditional equipmentmanufacturing industry for Henan Province to promote industrial instructureupgrading and industry economic growth.
