Research On The Drug Safety Supervision Problems And Countermeasures Of Retail Drugstores In Meishan City

Drug safety is a major issue concerning people’s life and public safety,and people’s health and life safety,as well as social stability.From the perspective of social management,drug safety includes the influence of drug quality on life safety and a series of social problems caused by drug safety incidents.In recent years,drug safety incidents occur frequently,and the situation of drug safety is still severe.At present,food and drug safety supervision has been clearly incorporated into the national public safety system.The new drug Administration Law went into effect on December 1,2019,which can fully implement the party Central Committee’s four most stringent requirements for drug safety,insist the basic principle of risk management,the whole control and the Social governance,improve the quality of medicines,ensure the safety and effectiveness of the medicines.At present,retail pharmacies are the main and key channels for the people to purchase drugs directly.The safety of drugs are closely related to the people’s life and health.However,the quality problems of the drugs,the unreasonable price of the drugs,false advertisements about the drugs,disorder purchase channels of the drugs happened frequently.This paper takes the safety supervision of retail drugstores in meishan city as the object,studies the current situation of drug safety supervision in meishan retail pharmacies,finds out the problems,analyzes the reasons,puts forward countermeasures,and strives to solve the problems of drug safety supervision in actual retail pharmacies.Firstly,investigated and summarized the problems :First,the illegal phenomenons of producing and selling fake and substandard drugs exist.Second,prescription drugs are not sold according to the standard requirements.Third,non-standard storage of drugs affects the quality of drugs.Fourth,the purchase channels of the drugs are in disorder.Fifth,the supervisions of departments are not strong enough.Secondly,the reasons of the problems include these reasons:First,the production and sale of counterfeit and inferior drugs will generate relatively large illegal profits.Second,the old version of the Drug Administration Law had relatively light penalties for the production and sale of counterfeit and substandard drugs.Third,it is difficult to determine the counterfeit and substandard drugs.Fourth,ordinary consumers lack the ability to identify counterfeit and substandard medicines.Fifth,retail pharmacies are not equipped with licensed pharmacists as required.Sixth,there is a big gap in the number of licensed pharmacists.Seventh,retail pharmacy owners lack professional awareness and skills.Eighth,the personals of retail drugstores are short of pharmaceutical professional and technical talents.Ninth,the training of knowledge and skills related to drugs in retail pharmacies are not enough.Tenth,some retail pharmacies have chaotic internal managements.Eleventh,the lack of uniform provisions on the management.Twelfth,insufficient financial input of government departments.Thirteenth,the publicity and popularization of medical knowledge is far from enough.Fourteenth,the construction of drug safety supervision is not enough.Finally,find these strategies:First,the government department should clarify legal responsibilities and increase penalties for the production and sale of counterfeit and substandard drugs.Second,the government department should scientific define counterfeit and substandard medicines scientifically.Third,the government department should establish a platform for information of counterfeit and substandard drugs.Fourth,retail pharmacies should be equipped with licensed pharmacists strictly.Fifth,the government department should reduce the difficulty of the licensed pharmacists exams appropriately and encourage the personnel to participate in the licensed pharmacists exams.Sixth,retail pharmacies should strengthen the training and reserve of pharmaceutical professional and technical personnel.Seventh,retail pharmacies should Actively carry out more training related to the knowledge and skills of drugs.Eighth,retail pharmacies should strengthen the internal managements.Ninth,the government department should establish uniform provisions for the management of the retail chain pharmacies.Tenth,the government department should increase the government funding appropriately.Eleventh,the government department should strengthen the propaganda of the drugs knowledge.Twelfth,the government department should strengthen the supervision and administration of drugs safety.
