The Research On Drug Safety Supervision Of Changde City

Pharmaceuticals plays a very important role in safeguarding our health for it is closely related to our health or even to our life. Based on the analysis of supervision-related theories, this essay takes Changde city as an example to deeply analyze the present situation of drug-safety supervision. The conclusion is that progress goes hand in hand with problems. Pharmaceuticals safety supervision system already set up, supervision ways consistently going in depth and enforcement continually strengthened, a lot of problems still lie with us such as imbalance in safety supervision links and region imbalance ,serious competition between alike enterprises,flaw of supervision platform,lack of risk management in drug safety and imperfectness of national pharmaceuticals supervision system. There are external reasons like lagging behind of hygienic system reform, conflicts between economy benefits and society effect, and so on. And there are also internal reasons like insufficient ability to supervise drug safety, instability of safety supervision base, etc. In view of this, the author conducted a series of research, supported by his own work experience in the city, which tries to improve the pharmaceutical supervision, attempting to explore a new way to better the safety supervision frame, to further ability and platform construction, no–gap supervision system safeguard and responsibility–look- into, finally forming composition of forces in supervision. This is to offer some useful suggestions to similar districts about scientific, reasonable and practical measures on supervision, ensuring the people's right to take medicines.
